This hood fang/bumper/vent combo just looks too...wrong. Same with the little drop off on the headlight.

I'd have to go for the R53 with the 6MT. The supercharged engine was from a time before Mini tried to get all efficient. It was fantastically torquey and you were always in the right part of the rev range. The clutch was light but responsive and the shifter was damn near perfect.
