I’m calling absolute bullshit on this being to help the environment. They just were unable to put together a competitive car and needed a good marketing ploy as an excuse.

You can get more than that off even if you dont have another Corvette and you call around to enough dealers. The dealers who stock up on large amounts of Corvette inventory are desperate to dump C7s ahead of the C8s arrival.
Inb4 a bunch of incoherent screeching about how “I didn’t come here for politics”
Just not a whole lot of interest, honestly
I’ve been struggling to sell my 26k mile President for $6000 so it makes me feel better that this went for nowhere near the $20000-30000 estimate it had
I hope he sticks with the hybrid system
One of the best car reviews I’ve read in a long while!
The only real option is to go for a more obscure supercar manufacturer. The Z8 and NSX won’t even turn a head in Beverley Hills
I 100% will! Hopefully it’ll be up and running in a couple months
Works well for me then! We’re too far into it for them to back out now!
I’m in the process of buying one
For what it’s worth (not that anyone cares), this is actually an incorrect combo. The Motocompo was only an option with the non turbo City of this generation
And boy oh boy is the owner an absolute charmer. Erik (@peloton25) apparently got on his bad side by explaining why McLaren wouldn’t sell him any cars directly.
At least half of these look like cell phone photos and the other half are just badly edited
Neat cars but it’d be nice to have some good pictures...
I learned to drive manual on a 2005, it was still boring as shit, it just happened to have a 5 speed. 0/10 would own
Anything under 21 years old has to meet EPA requirements. I actually have a project car that was imported under show and display and I’m mostly curious as to how these cars are brought in because it’d be nice to have a registered importer willing to do work for a reasonable price. I was trying to buy a MNP R34 GTR to…
BDII is required for EPA compliance. There are plenty of importers but a registered importer is quite a different thing. Show and Display exempts a car from meeting NHTSA regulations but has no bearing on EPA requirements.
What registered importer did the EPA compliance? Was it difficult for something like this without OBDII?
The Show and Display exemption requires a car to have production numbers of under 500, how did you claim that with a Nano and why is it not on the general show and display list?
