I just realized how ridiculous it is that Microsoft’s two platforms are so similar sounding= the One S and the One X.

Exactly. Any ill will that could be apparent from this is overshadowed by Sony’s other numerous positives right now. Some day cross-platform play could become as necessary as online play, but not for a while just yet.

I mean, hell. BGE2 looks nice and all, but it kind of screams Ninja Theory’s Enslaved: Odyssey to the West a whole lot more than what the original BGE was doing. I don’t hate it, but...

I want to be positive-minded about a new Bioware IP.

I’d further the ante: Most of the guy characters might as well be golems. How do they breathe? Do they have peripheral version? If they get wounded will they bleed out before their twelve handlers get to them on the field to dismantle their gear and treat the wound?

Wow. I’m honestly pretty impressed.

Some of these look pretty ugly.

EXACTLY. I ended up staring at this thing for a while, trying to hunt for some logic in what the designer thought they were doing. All I can come up with is that it’s similar, but not the same to the last one, and that eye of the storm looks like a ‘C’ now.

Um.

It looked great. If it had a chance in hell of being what that video promised I’m sure things would’ve gone a different way. Human Head was promising a LOT.

I enjoy all the extra hats and bandoliers and crap they’ve got lined up for this to make the create-a-character seem more uniquem while simultaneously making the Sonic designs either super plain or, y’know...naked.

It never ceases to amaze me how it continues to seem that one can take the design themes from any Nintendo product and transpose it onto another, and the result is always awesome.

1) This looks like it could be the ultimate refinement of the DS line. Given that the DS has out-sold every other system, console or no, in the world, it’s not so hard to understand that Nintendo saw fit to give it a sendoff like this.

It’s weird how visually, everything is trying to be as detailed and high-end as possible, but the entire trailer could be re-enacted in the Quake 3 engine and the game would look basically the same.

That Sephiroth is pretty fuckin boss. These are all awesome, but that one really knocks it out of the park.

It’s also amazing how ‘social justice’ as a concept is somehow something to sneer at. Just like how ‘liberal’ somehow became a concept for sneering at.

So...the knives do nothing? Even if they’re ridiculous, if they at least served a purpose there’d be that.

Trouble is, the progression systems that have become enmeshed in contemporary multiplayer FPS games are a proven attractor for players that will stay with a title for months, if not years on end.

The butter ads fund his ability to tour.

Everything looks very pretty but...staid in its execution. Nothing bad, but just...very professionally workmanlike. Reminds me of Singularity.
