They generally don’t anywhere. Not at my job, where I at least try and phrase my pitch so it’s clearer about what they’re getting for their money.

Already had the Fire stick. I was actually hoping to not need it, but if I’m going to stream from Amazon’s library (instead of stuff I bought from Amazon) I have to use their stick. Roku’s Amazon Music app only supports purchases.

Sling sent me a Roku Express for prepaying with them, and I gotta say I like their interface better. Of course, I still have to keep the Fire stick if I want to stream Amazon Music...

I started using Sling a few months ago because I was sick of paying for TV when really all I care about is sports. Gotta say I’m happy with it, even though as it turns out, I really only use it to watch Lucha Underground (as the channel it’s on isn’t on FiOS). As long as I can keep my ESPN logins for that too, then…

Dark Souls 3 (other runners actively shitting on BubblesDelFuego while he ran it), Super Metroid race being a highlight (not after the WAAAAAHmageddon), and also Undertale (being a sorely needed lift at the end of the marathon). At least that seems to be the consensus... didn’t see any…

Damn, gotta watch Big Jon’s segments. He’s good at controlling the viewers. And there’s other ways to shut down the few morons ruining everything. Tell them to get hyped, but the Waluigi thing is played out. Keep it positive but discourage the annoying stuff.

The SGDQ one last year was awesome for the tension. Pretty sure that if the audience was spraying arcing ropes of Waluigi all over that one there might have been actual homicide. Hopefully the staff can educate the audience on when they’ve completely run a thing into the ground so it doesn’t escalate into hype death.
