So just to step away from the stereotypes and commentary above, no, this truck is not worth the asking price nor is it worth 17.5k. This one truly is a CP. Even if you were in the market for a lifted Cummins Dodge, you should stay away from this one. Why? Its been modded and tuned to an excessive degree by an amateur,

Very few people in Germany actually wear deodorant.  This doesnt change much, if even fewer are wearing deodorant now its no big deal.  Try being on a train or outbound flight in Germany when its crowded and people are holding the grab bars and/or reaching up for luggage constantly.  Its quite the experience.

The folks voting NP are definitely wrong here. The 2012-2013 Evoques were terrible vehicles in their own right. Plagued with transmission and electronics problems, Evoque drivers often found their chosen conveyance just dead at a red light for no reason. Or worse yet, with a grenaded transmission upon acceleration

GM, Ford, FCA all survive due to the truck market. Full and mid size pickups are selling very well, and are very profitable.

650/month for a discounted $48k MSRP Grand Cherokee plus 5-8% tax, title, etc with zero down on a 72 month loan is probably the correct figure.  No dealer will sell below their cost.  But there are deals if you look.  One dealer near me is discounting F150 XLTs by $10k from sticker factoring in all incentives.  But

Yeah, Im on the fence with this one too. It is a 4x4 and manual trans which counts for a lot, but its not in great shape, mileage is high for collectible purposes, and some of the bumpers and body panels need a really close look. Id be in at $4500-$5k for truck duty. At $6k its a CP though.

In general I agree with you, but this chassis and drivetrain are fairly solid.  There are many more fun miles to be had here without major bills, provided it passes a PPI.  NP.

This is the right take. Its a 32 year old Sportster with straight pipes. Straight pipes make any bike an instant CP, but a Sportster sounds like pure crap without a proper exhaust. And, the statement of “Truly unique and a great bar crawler” fits just about every stereotype of the drunken Sunday HD rider around here.

Truck people think about things like towing capacity and having durable payload area outside of the cab that can get dirty as needed.  They also think about 4wd for boat launching, camping, or winter use.  They also think that most Minivans are just bloated unibody sedans that are noisy, underpowered, and really dont

Agreed, I like this car, but it is too expensive by about $1500 given its mileage and paint condition. Minnesota or otherwise, its a CP at its current price. At 5k, I would be all over it.

Yeah, these are fun to drive in stock form, but this one should only be driven by a vape-juicing, flat-brimmed-hat-wearing, anime-watching, moms-basement-dwelling, fast-and-the-furious-loving, fart-can-exhaust-buying, 2o-something-year-old person. One could reasonably argue that same stereotype should apply to ALL

A-pillar gauges are annoying and make an otherwise decent project look like its being driven by a flat brimmed hat wearing, chronically vaping, moms basement dwelling early 20s boy racer.

Im with you on this one. I cant think of a single good reason to pay $18000 for this Frankenstein. I cant think of a single good reason to pay even $8000 for this one. There are too many warning signs as well (low mileage project, etc).  CP all the way.

I cant vote it as CP based strictly on the tires.  They could be slapped on just to sell the car with new tires, or the tire shop took advantage of the guy (which happens all the time).  For the Jag-er-ati, this is very much an NP car, but Id get a PPI and ding him $1500 for the crappy tires.

No, this isnt the car 70% of the population would ever need. Of course, how would you personally know what 70% of people actually need? Thats a bold - and incorrect - statement.

I would buy it at 3500, and I think I could get there in negotiations.  NP just because of that super-cool vintage 80s cockpit.  It just doesnt get any better than that.

I was so on the fence with this one but ultimately went CP.  100k is around when everything starts to fall apart on early 2000 Audi A4s, especially if they have been driven hard.  The quattro transmission is a known weak point and would/will be a $4k repair minimum when (not if) it goes.  I so want to vote this an NP,

I give it a nostalgic Nice Price too - if only because it has a “5 SPEED” badge on the tailgate!  I like this truck and would restore it.  NP.

Yeah, for an 80s Camry enthusiast (they do exist), this one is an NP. I wouldn’t buy it but the price is right. One can claim they have a fairly unique car and be right about it. This Camry would be cool in a Radwood tell-everyone-about-your-80s-diesel-Camry way. So NP for someone.

NP.  Id buy it at this price, its a relative bargain.  These run forever and make great overlanding rigs.  And this one is in great shape!
