Yep, you are absolutely correct.  This is an excellent restoration candidate, and the price is right for a fairly complete Falcon restoration.  Its an NP all around for a solid project car.

I would definitely NP it if this Caddy was a different color. The upchucked Pepto Bismol hued motif would keep me away at any price, so I had to CP it. But I love that dashboard. I miss all of the buttons personally.

Saying “clean title” is meaningless, unfortunately.   A clean title just means it was never formally declared to be wrecked beyond its total value.  Take a close look at the pictures on Craigslist.

Yeah, Im in agreement with Dave, and I love these cars! But this one is a CP simply because its been wrecked and rebuilt, and its not in great condition as a result. There are a number of aftermarket replacement parts, nuts and bolts in this thing that are clearly visible in the pictures. In addition, the bumper paint

The CEL is probably a stuck purge solenoid, which is endemic to this platform. Ask me how I know. But its still a guess, and a bad one at that.

The interior isnt terribly hideous - to me, the manual trans makes up for the odd interior. For a convertible toy car, this checks a LOT of boxes. Props go to it being an AZ car - it should be rust free. Jeers go to the body panels, which appear to be varied in gap distance based on the panel - and especially on the

That knowledge base is impressive. I’m no BMW fanboi, but I can certainly appreciate the distinction here. BMW isn’t the only manufacturer to place the fuel pump in the tank, but they seem to have had the most problems with that setup early on.

No, not really. I fully support this Chengli buy and build. But I think it will result in disappointment. Someone nearby tried to do the same thing with a similar 40cc gas version of this a couple years ago. I think it was Chengdu motors or something similar. The gas motor was under the drivers seat.  Ended up getting

Yeah, I dont like this E55 one bit. All of the mods are meaningless when it comes to actual value, so what we are really looking at is a 14 year old E55 Benz. And its not worth $15k. Honestly, if he wanted to retain any value he should have left this car stock, as it is perfectly streetable and powerful in stock form.

Hard CP here. Simply because if I wanted to make the reliability mods, Id go for an example that has lower miles and is in better shape. This RR isn’t great and has been ridden hard.  The interior is a mess with well worn seats and missing panels.  5500.00 just seems too high, this should be a 3000.00 rig.

There is a lot of froth in the old truck market now, but its quickly dying with the recession.  I wouldnt base a price off 3 month old data at this point.

Im with you on all counts. Is it a cool older truck? Definitely. But being 2wd kills it for me as a toy. Its not particularly collectible or rare. And I wouldnt daily it as these would crumple like an accordion in an accident. A rollover would be a done deal.

Paying MSRP alone for a vehicle is ridiculous.  And paying $700/mo to lease a Kia or Hyundai is even more ridiculous, even if it is a Tellisade.  Thats MB/BMW SUV lease territory.  I know what Id rather drive.

Yep, this is the problem in a nutshell.  I love 80s wagons, and this one is cool and clean.  But its nowhere near worth the asking price, so its an instant CP.  I could see maybe $5500 for this one owing to the low miles and lack of rust.  These are incredibly easy to work on and most maintenance can be done in your

Not to mention the pretty much planned transmission failure on the Pathfinder around 100-120k miles that will set an owner back over $4k. It will happen sooner if there is any towing involved, but not soon enough to be covered by a warranty.

I suppose thats why I chose an NP. The styling is different enough to get noticed in a sea of commonality, and there truly arent many of these left. This would be a fun weekend toy and probably a good investment for the long-term.  I could stare at the Europa and appreciate its quirkiness and design.  NP for me.

That body kit is ugly but unique - I kind of like it the same way I like a pet bulldog.  That said, finish the dang thing!!!  Seriously, no one wants to take over someone elses project, and with the rear bumper missing along with non functional components like A/C, this is an absolute CRACK PIPE.  The ad kind of reads

Agreed, I really like this car, but its too expensive in its current condition.  And when a seller says, “needs a tune-up”, thats generally a huge red flag.  Id be in at $3k.  Anything more is CP, so this is CP.

The cumulative compensation for the six top executives at Ford Motor Co. — $70 million — exceeded the automaker’s annual net income of $47 million in 2019:

Yeah, there are some red flags with this 240SX and I would avoid it.  I dont think this car was left stock - I think this car was “returned to stock” so that the seller could try and ask for more money.  The tints and the coilovers are jsut the start.  There is the dangling MAF sensor which indicates an aftermarket
