Yep, you hit the nail on the head here.  Is this a cool limo?  Kind of.  Is it worth $25000.00?  NO WAY.  Its not even worth half that.  Might not be worth 1/3 of that price.  He will be sitting on this one for a long time.  Massive, huge, throbbing CP on this “limo”.

Used car values have tanked by almost 50% since this thing started.  Which means 50% less debtors have any equity at all in their vehicle.  That isnt their fault, thats market forces at work.

You are banging the wrong drums, maybe you need to look into getting a good Hummer like this one. This is an auto enthusiasts column, and no one would buy this as a daily driver. Someone would buy it for offroad or toy use, and to that end fuel economy really doesnt matter, nor does it make a potential future owner

Yep.  I like the 968 - inordinately so - but this one is just too expensive and the wheels are not a good fit.  At $15k, its an NP.

Im not a Jaguar fan, so someone forking over $44k is still a CP to me. And yes, they are still very unreliable. Maybe not as bad as the late 80s and 90s Jaguar, but Tata clearly hasnt put much money into making the product more durable or reliable. Then again, the same could be said for their Land Rover platform.

yeah, Im in agreement, I am very on the fence with this one. I like it and dislike it. The broken speedo needle is a problem but I dont think it has been rolled back. There are rust signs on the body but they arent bad. The pictures are terrible, and its a dealer sale so who knows what you are really getting into...  C

This seller is a massive arse (LA, go figure) and the keyword spam is ridiculous. It looks like he removed the keyword spam for some reason later on, but that doesnt change the fact that this car is a massive CP and priced ridiculously. Maybe $3000 for this one, but you had better have some money in reserve for the

Agreed, this seller is a bit of an arse. I love MR2s but wouldnt even bother to go look at this one. The ad has too many problems and has the word RARE capitalized entirely too often. An MR2 turbo is not RARE in general, although there were fewer made in 1995. And at least take better, more current pictures.  Nothing

HOAs largely suck and this one is no different. In fact, golf course communities are amongst the worst HOAs known to man.

I love this car. This thing was built by a mad man and would be fun as heck to drive.
But I would never pay $25k for the privilege of owning this faux Yugo. Its just not worth that much scratch. Couldn’t daily driver it, wouldn’t be great on the street, has no real safety stuff, the cabin would become an oven in the

EXACT SAME HERE. This Golf would be Radwood Rad and it is super cool. It looks clean and has a lot of paperwork to back it up. BUT its being offered by a dealer that has slapped a lot of markup onto whatever they gave the original owner (or their family :( ).  And this Golf is frankly too expensive despite the cool

Yeah, if this passes a PPI its a definite NP.  These are cool and fun to drive, and will definitely save some money on gas (not that it matters nowadays).  The pictures appear to show some misalignment between the front doors and the fenders, but that could be a lighting issue for all I know.  With decent battery life

I was thinking - Business Insider is largely a step down. Maybe they are paying her more, but Business Insider has nothing to do with Business, and has no Insiders. BI is click-bait central and no one takes their publishing seriously.

Not anymore, that market has fallen through the floor.  Im sure it will come back someday.  But +$100k old trucks arent a hot commodity when the economy is in the tank.

Yep, Im with you on this one - at this price, its a massive, major CP. No interior pics, missing stuff from door locks to chrome bits, bad bodywork - and the ad is written for a $2k car, not someone who wants $15k for their vehicle. The “NO GAMES!!!” and lack of interior pictures seal the CP deal. Wouldnt touch it

Im with you here on the depreciation curve. There are a couple red flags on this one that keep me from giving it an NP. First, it was lowered by the current owner. Most of the time this means “bro racer” and it has been ridden hard. Second, the front bumper is a different shade of white than the rest of the car. The

Yeah, I may be in the minority here, maybe by a LOT, but I am going to NP this one. This isnt a minivan so much as a conversion from a commercial van, and in that niche it would be a great vehicle to own. Something like this competes with the Transit Connect passenger van, not a Sienna or Odyssey.

Man, I love this mishmashed ridge too - but I wouldn’t pay $14500 for the privilege of owning it. So a reluctant CP from me.

Something about this one is greasy.  Add to that high mileage, and a Sprinter that is probably hiding rust in all kinds of places, and a high asking price...  and you have stirred a cocktail of CP juice.

This is an absolute CP at $25000.  I like the notchback Mustangs as much as anyone else, but $25k is stupid.  Plain and simple.  Maybe this would be a good buy at $15kish.  $25k just gets you much more car from just about anyplace else....
