Dude, I was originally going to CP on this one, but you are absolutely right. There are 3 things that make this AWD Civic Wagon worth the price.  First, its been in Arizona so it wont have the usual rusted out early 90s Civic BS.  Second, this thing is close to Radwood cool and would turn a lot of heads.  Third, its

Yeah, Im in with the Radwood vibe of this 928s.  Im also in for $24k with a good PPI and flawless test drive.  NP for me, the green leather is almost as sumptuous as the gold paint!

This is exactly where I sit on today’s 3000GT. Yes, these were cool cars back in the 90s and they might have some collectible value 20-30 years down the road.

I liked this car back in the day, and while it was underpowered, all of the cars from its day were. These were actually fun to drive with a manual gearbox and they handled nicely.

I agree, that was an odd statement from Jalopnik. But I dont think Alanis King (author) is really a car enthusiast - she comes across as a journalist who happens to have a job writing for Jalopnik.. Anyone who knows the first thing about cars knows that there are a slew of vehicles that are far more “wasteful”,

I dont think anyone is giving Toyota a pass on their older platforms. People love them because they are simple and they are NEVER in the shop. They are a last in breed (especially the 4R and GX) and they hold their value very well.

Man, I love the DeLorean and would certainly restore one - but not this one. There are way too many red flags with the description and pictures. I would spend more for a better example that is at least properly advertised and has some sort of traceable history. This one is a CP for me - and I expect it will go down in

Not for $5k. CP on the price alone. This is at most a $1500.00 car.

The Versa doesnt pretend otherwise. Its the cheapest new car in the US and advertises its sub-mediocrity. But a manual transmission actually helps the Versa rise above terrible up to just plain bad.

Interesting read, but Jason should have left the “Tesla Cultists” out because, well, they are people and not a car. I also would have eliminated the Elio from the article- its not generally available and never will be, so its more of a scam than an actual product that the reader could go purchase.

Yeah, this and the Touareg TDI are well known for some crazy electrical gremlins that will manifest themselves at the least opportune time. If this example has lived in Brooklyn, gremlins are even more likely due to water and salt penetration.

Agreed, the original Italia was a beautiful car, with flowing lines and an organic form. This one is a hodgepodge of parts that make it look like an ‘80s sports car design reject.

I love this car, but the seller isnt that bright, and the car is dreadfully overpriced.  So CP from me.

Yep, this is the correct take.  All of the nonsense about wrenching it back to perfection are hardly relevant on this VW.  There is nothing worse on the wallet than a high mileage, used VW.  Timing belt and clutch?  Better be ready for a lot more to fail in short order.  This is a CP for me, as I wouldnt pay $500 for

Ford is already effed... Evidenced as:
- getting out of the Sedan/Coupe market
- importing and selling the EcoSport
- overpricing the new Explorer (and everything else)
- messing up assembly quality on just about every model, but especially F150s since 2018.
- Using the cheapest possible interiors and components on their

Get more than a respirator, wear the whole suit. Chemically induced asthma is no joke and it cannot be cured.

Yeah, agreed, not the biggest Volvo fan here, but a deal is a deal and this one isnt bad for $1700. Its a scruffy survivor and is kind of cool.  Id buy it - with the full understanding that the first thing to fail will probably cost more than the car is worth. And it will probably be the AWD system.

Man, NP for me just on the paint job alone.  And this truck would be an absolute blast to drive to Canada on my semiannual fishing trips.  NP all the way.

Not enough info on the Tundra.  The 1st gen Tundras are in high demand, especially for off road builders, and the price is consummate.  But need to know if it is 4WD, loaded or basic, etc.  A link and pictures would help.  You should be able to get the buyer down to 15k cash.  The 4.6L V8 in 1st gen Tundras is rock

Agreed, I have a feeling this will wind up as an NP - but it will for all the wrong reasons. This Alfa is worth maybe $3000. Its not particularly classic and not very desirable. It is rare though, on account of almost every other one giving up the ghost long ago. He is pretty confident in getting that number - and he
