Its a popularity contest here, people will vote “NP” because Porsche. But this one is overpriced. I could see maybe paying $32k and keeping it two years to hoon around in while under warranty, but this Macan is not particularly powerful. It is very well optioned though. But what I see is an overpriced hodgepodge of

OK, but I have to ask (all joking aside), JRHMobile - would you take $28k of your hard earned money and buy this car?  Seriously.

Agreed, this is a CP through and through. Its illegal in the US to start with and anyone who values their money shouldn’t pick up a grey market imported car that is less than 25 years old. Second, just about everything else on the car is a CP.  Third, $28k is an insulting asking price.  CP.

This is an NP in good condition with reasonable miles.  These are a ton of fun to drive and unremarkable in every other way.  It doesnt have a fart can and doesnt have a cold air intake, which are both pluses.  NP for sure.

Never, never, never ever buy a used Maserati Giblet, even with a clean title.  A friend bought one new, and just out of warranty, the transmission failed, and the repair cost was $28000.00.  Its just not worth it.  CP to the max, clean title or not.  A buyer can do so much better than a Giblet.

No doubt - with that wheelbase and no traction control, this thing will be turned around in no time. I cant think of a single good reason to buy this version of someone else’s project for $18500. I cant think of a good reason to buy it at all. This may be one of those “CP at any price” examples.

Same camp.  Narrow CP, and the narrow CP is only because there are far more reliable and fun used convertibles on the market that can be had for the same price.  I have always liked the TT despite its flaws.  At $6500 Id probably change sides, but $7900 is CP territory...

1. Its a highly used Mercedes.  2. Its a highly used AMG.  3. It has temp tags.  4. There is no VIN in the ad.  5. The hood has a ghastly panel gap to the bumper.  So yes, this is sketchy, VERY SKETCHY.  This one will probably get an NP, but for all the wrong reasons.  Massive CP from me.

I have driven the Bolt and Volt, and I really liked them both. When they were developed, the only electric vehicles were smaller economical platforms. I feel that this article is hugely erroneous in comparing the Mustang Mach-E (which hurts to type) to the previous EVs. The only direct competition to the MME is the

I agree. I absolutely hate this car. I dont like anything about it. The miles are high, its a highly used SAAB that has been messed with, the body panels dont all line up right, the “aftermarket tune” probably doesnt produce 350bhp, the rear hatch is faded, I just plain hate the car and wouldnt touch it.

Yeah, agreed, if you know early Cummins Dodge Ram trucks, you know this is an NP.  Id buy it if I was closer to the seller.  NP.

Yeah, this one is a hot mess.  And I love the Montero.  Just not this one.  Lots of red flags in the ad.  CP for me.

Yeah, I agree. It took me a while to come to the NP conclusion on this one. These were a blast to drive in the 2000s provided you could deal with the torque steer, and surprised many a motorist of far more expensive carriage.

Yeah, never buy a used, questionable Porsche from a Nissan dealer.

Yeah, this is a nice replica, but it is still a replica and still smells like Fiero. No way is this worth $23500.00. Massive CP just on price alone. For a much lower price, I might be swayed though, especially with the supercharged Buick V6 swap.

The cheapest example of a specific year and model is usually the worst one to buy.  Sorry to hear about your buddy, that sucks...

Totally terrifying CP for me as well. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy someone else’s unfinished project.  That is a scarier proposition than headbutting Hellraiser!  Absolutely not, banish it to hell where it belongs.

Yep, I am in agreement here. This is a stealer dealer, the title may be “clean” but its an ugly paint job, and there are a lot of odd body panel gaps (which could be typical early Viper, or could be slapped back together after a wreck). I dont trust either of them. CP.

No doubt about that. I wonder if the lack of sales is due to the BMW lineage? Maybe it would have had better initial sales if it was a 100% Toyota product. I saw two in person at the dealer and they look great.

Agreed - I actually like this car, but never for $16k. That price is highway robbery.
