Agreed. Not to mention these VWs were a LOT of fun to drive back in the day with the manual gearbox and fairly reliable to boot.  Future classic?  That is a long shot.  But NP - that is a no-brainer for this southern Cabriolet.  NP from ME!

Agreed.  The F150 and Tahoe will not depreciate as quickly as others, and zero percent for those vehicles is a great deal no matter the loan term.

I almost did, but had to look at the pictures first. I love this Roadmaster limo... but hate the price. This one should be $7k at best. So massive, humongous, bulbous, festering CP on this Roadmaster limo. Someone has a lot of hubris asking $25k for this thing.

This is a CP in some parts of the US, but its an NP in Merced.  It will sell fast.  I happen to like the i3 despite its major flaws (most notably having one tire manufacturer and model) and would buy this one if I lived in Cali and needed access to the HOV lanes.  They are a lot of fun to drive and get a lot of

Massive CP on this MX5. 1: Carb. 2: There isnt a straight body panel on this MX5. This one has been wrecked and pieced together by a shady body shop. It may sport a “clean” title, but the car itself is most assuredly not.

Yeah, same here.  This example is seemingly nice, but it has been messed with and “upgraded” which makes an already unreliable vehicle even moreso.  This one is a sad CP unfortunately, even with all of the work that has been done.

I don’t disagree on your statement, but then why buy A VOLKSWAGEN that will cost a fortune to own and maintain? Might as well outlay the extra cash on a real Bentley and at least get the marque with the repair bill.  Or get a Lexus LS that will provide 90% of the luxury and likely need 90% less cash laid out for

Heck no. The words “complicated engine” and any VAG product should never, ever be used in the same sentence. These words should especially be avoided on a VAG product that is 14 years old and up there in miles. An obvious CP here.

This one is a hard CP. It is overpriced, one would be ten times better off getting a used Lexus GX if they are going to spend this kind of money.  That said, its not a bad SUV if one is into Mercedes diesels.

Yeah, agreed, I would be all over this at $4k, but this hearse is priced way too high for something needing work... even though the lift would scare all the kids away!  CP from me too....

I agree that if it feels off, walk.....  but this was a standard (albeit gaudy) option at the time.

Headlights on these crazed up pretty quickly.  Aftermarket headlights arent a red flag.  But as always, for this price a thorough PPI is in order.  If the car checks out, negotiate a bit for a NP.

Had one, supercharged it and loved it. This was a fast car for its time and a blast with the manual trans. If it passed a stringent PPI and mileage checks out, its an NP. Clutch replacement may have been due to a seal leaking over time, soaking the clutch in lubricant and causing deterioration. Not uncommon.

Yeah, this one is WAAAAAYYYYYY overpriced, it should be 6-7k.  CP at 20k, CP at 15k, CP at 10k.  Rarity does not always equal value.  Massive, bulging CP on this Bertone.

Yeah, this one has too many strikes against it. One, its an X6. Two, it has MANSORY across the rear deck - and three, the X6 is ugly to start with and the gauche bits just made it 10 times worse. Massive, unadulterated CP on this one.

You are right, anyone who pays $19k for this example is getting robbed.  This Supra does have collector potential, but its not a best of breed.  If this was a 1987 Supra Turbo for the same price, NP.  But for a 1985 version that is relatively slow and uninspiring, it should be 10-12k max.  So a sad CP on this one from

Yep, beautiful car, but we are judging whether the Triumph is worth the asking price. And this one most assuredly is not. So a sad CP at the asking price. NP at $8k.

Exactly.  I always try to buy locally because then you have an advocate on the sales side if things go South...  But if not, service departments generally dont care where one purchased their vehicle.  They are on a separate P&L from the sales side.

This is a beautiful video.

Sadly agreeing with you.  I REALLY wanted this one to be an NP, but something looks awry with the wagon.  There is no such thing as a “rust free” vehicle that is 25 years old and has spent its life in Quincy, IL.  The interior carpets appear to have had something fierce scrubbed out of them with that canned carpet
