I also like the Aztek and think it has been unfairly maligned over the years. But this one is too expensive. Its not in great shape and its not worth the crazy asking cash for all of the “extras”. A sad CP at 6k. I would NP it at around 3k.

I honestly have to wonder if anyone buying a car actually buys into the “Exceptionally rare” and “one of only XXXX made” nonsense. I really got a laugh out of the “This is a rare piece of expensive history” statement! Im still laughing....
Im on your side here. This truck is a massive bro-dozer that was built out in poor taste and is being sold by a meatball. But wait, there is more - this Ram is also massively overpriced. You can get a NEW RAM for the same price as this 2008 project truck. Part of me thinks this is a joke. Massive CP just in case…
Yeah, in the NP camp here. For the money, this one is a good deal PROVIDED IT PASSES A PPI. Not sure what is causing the door sag, it could be a number of things, but a PPI is warranted here. That driver door gap is massive - could be an accident, could be a slipped hinge, but its better safe than sorry.
Yeah CP on this one here too. Its another project car and while the engine bay looks pretty clean, there are other things amiss as you had mentioned. A missing radiator fan would be just the tip of the iceberg with this mess. $9500 is too high of an amount for that level of risk... CP for me.
No offense to anyone involved, but that drifting event sounds totally lame. Go out, meet some ladies, and have fun instead.
Owing $10000 on a 15 year old Toyota Echo? Some dealer saw her coming a mile away and took her to the cleaners and back. It is unfortunate, but it happens all the time... One of those things that keeps the poor stuck being poor. Id hate to see what the payments are on that POS.
^^^ This. I do really like this Datsun and it would have sold itself had it been unmolested. But there are a real hodgepodge of parts in this thing, and, you know, Rabble, rabble, rabble—someone else’s project—rabble, rabble, rabble. All Jalops should realize that if you are going to build a Frankenstein, you had…
Yeah, this one was a tough call for me too. $8100 is a bit high, I NPed it assuming one could get it reduced $700-$1000. The seller appears to be honest and provides a lot of detail on the Subie. The AutoCheck “checks out”. He even provides a name and phone number for questions (gasp!). The body panels look good and…
Wouldn’t that make it a CP at $6000 and an NP at $4500? At the asking price this Lotus is most assuredly a CP. At 4500 it would be a CP to me as well, but others may differ.
Yeah, at 10-12k, this one would be an NP. I really like this trucks lineage and would happily have one in my garage. But the owner must have eaten some special gummy bears if they think they are going to get $17k for this
Yeah, you can polish a turd, and this is one finely polished turd... But it is still a turd at the end of the day, ten times so because of the ridiculous almost $13k asking price. This seller is also not very grammar savvy. CP to the max.
Yeah this one is an easy NP. Scrape off the FeelTheBern bumper sticker, touch up the paint, and you have one cool ride for under $2k.
Yeah total CP at the asking price, or anywhere near it. I really like the limo but honestly this dealer must be high. Id take the Toyota Crown or one of a hundred other vehicles for $12200.00. CP CP CP
This exactly. I really like the Corrado platform, but this one is butchered to the max. This is someone else’s project car, and while they may have finished what they wanted to achieve, I cannot see anyone else (save a few fanatical folks on the VWVortex forum) that would pay anywhere near asking price for this…
NP for the same reasons. Its not terrible and would be a blast to drive provided everything is in order and checks out.
Montana title/registration but located in No. Wisconsin.
The town needs to do nothing more, and shouldn’t. They already have a height warning system installed, proper signage, and plenty of indicators for large vehicles to turn. If a truck driver chooses to ignore all of them and run the height triggered red light, that is their problem and not the city’s.
C-Class? With 3 owners and road rot?
I think they mean CP-Class!
Agreed, a seller not providing mileage is a very bad sign. I do like the AWD Astro, and if this one had less than 150k on the clock, Id NP it. But not knowing the basics would tilt it into CP territory.
