CP for the title reason as well.  Yes, this vehicle is incredibly dodgy.  But at $2000, who cares as long as it runs and drives?  But the missing title is a red flag and could cause a TON of problems down the road.  The seller could simply head down to the DMV with ID and their bill of sale, and get a fresh copy of

I really like the Cadillac ELR! Id love to buy this car - but no way would I pay $25k for it. A similarly packaged Volt with approximately the same mileage can be had for <19k. Id pay an extra couple grand for the Caddy badge, but not much more. CP at $25k, NP at $19k.

NP. I agree, I personally like the color. While the color itself doesnt add any value, the Viper is in immaculate condition and would make a good future classic. NP for me!

Yeah agreed, CP for three reasons - first, if there are warning lights on a dash, walk away. If the dealer selling the car is a brand specialist and there are warning lights, RUN away. Mileage on this one is very high which does not bode well for the 00s turbocharged mechanicals.  And a base Pentastar V6 produces more

That is a problem. It is not worth $8k with a rebuilt title, ESPECIALLY if it is a Lexus and an insurance company deemed the vehicle scrap-worthy instead of repairing it. That had to be a lot of damage.  Everyone who voted NP must not have looked at the title situation.  With a rebuilt title, 4k max.  CP.

Yeah, CP on price alone. This SL is a cool car no doubt, but there are a ton of used SLs around here, with the 8 cylinder versions at around $10k with less miles, and the AMG/V12s around $15k. This car may be cool, but it is not rare or special, and this seller is about $10k too high.  Sad, price-driven CP.

Yeah, this wagon is someone else’s project - someone else’s poorly executed project. The title being from a different state than the owner is also very highly suspect and it could be title-washed.  Nope nope nope nope.  Massive, swollen CP on this one.

I had one of these years ago... and it was a blast to drive with the manual transmission at the time.  This Maxima isnt fast by todays standards, but it would still be fun to drive and relatively efficient.  That said, I cracked all of the motor mounts twice in mine due to “overly spirited driving” (e.g. driving it

This was a dreadfully long article that could have been summarized in two paragraphs. But either way, Uber would not exist in NYC if the existing taxi infrastructure supported commuter needs. But it doesn’t - try hailing an NYC cab at 5:00 pm, or any time rain falls, or during a Yankees game and see how long you have

Yep, this exactly. The timing chain guides in these are the things of nightmares. To be avoided like the plague, even if the car is free. Massive, unadulterated CP.

Well NOx has 25x the greenhouse potential of CO2, so Id think we should be concerned about NOx as well.

Tough call on this one - it is an awesome car - but at mid 80k range it is just too expensive. Sure, its unique and well built, but that doesnt render away the fact that it would get smoked by any of the new Dodge SRT vehicles out there, and those can also, uh, carry passengers and have real airbag systems. So a CP on

+1, this example is entirely too expensive.  Nice restoration and cool Jeep, but its about 9k too much.  So a CP for me

Visible diesel emissions, even on passenger vehicles, should be subject to a $1000 ticket and mandatory emissions test.  That will stop “rolling coal” right in its tracks.

Wholly agreed. I drive a lot - a LOT - and by far the worst polluters on the road are old semi trucks and waste haulers that belch out a plume of black smoke every time traffic starts accelerating. In rush hour, these trucks stop and go every minute, and every time there is a belch of noxiousness that settles into the

Agreed.  I think this is a cool toy car and there is a lot to like.  But it is not worth $20000.00, not by a long stretch.  Add the long list of problems, rust issues, dented body, non functioning AC, and automatic transmission and Id be at 8k max.  So, CP on price.  Yes, it is rare.  So is a running Yugo.  Rarity

I do like the term “quasi-desireable”. Most 80s cars were junk all around, lacking horsepower and lackadaisical to drive. Rust was a common problem on these and almost all 80s cars. Maintenance was awful on anything turbocharged in the 80s, and safety standards were much looser.

That said, if someone is looking for an

Yeah, massive CP here too.  I actually owned one of these - it was a blast to drive (mine was manual) but it would cr4p the bed regularly.  Turbo maintenance was a nightmare on these.  Now, this is a cool example other than the automatic transmission, but it is in no way worth $10500.00.  Maybe half that if it is

Agreed, a reluctant CP from me as well only because this one is priced too high.  This should sell around 7k-8k, depending on a test drive.  $10,399 is just too steep for anyone other than a diehard RX7 fan, and a diehard would go to the FD chassis.  I predict an NP win though, if only due to nostalgia.

Yeah, too expensive for the mileage and not enough HP to warrant the price.  CP for me.
