My thoughts exactly, the most this would have cost off of the dealer floor is $31k in 2009. 49k buys a beautiful “pre-owned” 911 or M BMW that will most assuredly hold more value over 10 years. Major CP.

Absolutely not, way overpriced, and not yet in collectible territory. Sticker price would have maxed out at $31k NEW off the dealer floor. Major CP in every way.

mkbruin - The idea of CP or NP is simply whether the vehicle proposed is worth the asking price or not, that is all. I suspect that the majority will find that this car is a massive CP (as do I) because it is simply a Neon with a blown engine and some suspension components. Either way, it is still a Neon and will have

CP because this is an overpowered Neon. No matter what is under the hood, the engine will be surrounded by a Neon with its related drivetrain, suspension, body, torque steer, and mechanical issues. This is a rare car, but not a collectible unless one is a die-hard Neon fan. I dont know anyone who fits that moniker.

RHD in the United States is a terrible driving experience with any car. Making a left turn is incredibly difficult on any RHD vehicle. CP for that alone.

The convertible tops on these are known to leak hydraulic fluid from their linkage everywhere at times, and fail at the most inopportune moments.

Its not completely my cup of tea, but this Allante is certainly worth what they are asking. NP on this one even though I wouldnt buy it.

Ive rented them several times, and for the money they are certainly one of the more versatile vehicles out there. I havent driven one with the Pentastar, but that sounds like a fun per dollar value leader to me.

I couldnt agree more. I had one of these years ago and while it wasnt the fastest vehicle, there wasnt a single better handling car that I had driven back in the 80s. It was cool and fun to drive, and had no problem getting up to the triple digits on the highway. The 1st generation MR2 was also an absolute blast to

1: Dealers will let Journeys go for a huge discount to buyers with good credit;

JoeFromPA - But this car is not really “rare”. It is rare by owner fiat, and that is all. I could paint my GC highlighter yellow, slap 22 inch rims and a turbocharger on it, and call it “rare”. But it isn’t really rare because the rarity is simply in commonly available modifications.

This Forester is interesting indeed. The body looks straight, the records appear to be detailed, the build appears to be professional, the ad is well written,

Major CP on this Civic SI. In addition to being woefully under powered by today’s standards, this generation Civic SI was also known to crumple any occupants into the twisted fuselage in a major accident. These were built for one reason only - fuel savings - and that caused a myriad of other problems. Maybe as a fun

Love it but have to CP it. This isnt a good year for the MGB anyway, but as for the rest of the car, the body panels are all out of whack and the front bumper is misaligned. There are no pictures of the undercarriage that is claimed to have been reinforced. And the black bumper rides too high and is just plain ugly.

Excellent read! I dont feel so bad about the time I got ripped off.... I suppose it happened to all of us when we were young and didnt know better. Please remember this when you have kids!

Holy Crap! With all of those storage compartments, it looks like what the Tundra used to be!

Meh... I thought it was kind of snarky but did deliver on the reverse typical Rover experience. Thumbs up overall.

Blech. That added badging looks terrible and serves only one purpose - to show the world that the buyer bought a BMW, from the side. If the badge were missing, the X2 would look like just about every other CUV out there from the side. The X2 delivers the same value proposition of every other crossover anyway...

Well its about damn time. The Cherokee is evolving into a much more competent and better looking vehicle. Thankfully, Jeep and Dodge are realizing that horsepower sells. Cheap horsepower sells even faster. If the 4 cylinder 270hp powerplant moves this thing like I think it will, I may have to go take a test drive.
