This all the time. I have driven probably 25K interstate miles this year and I see this all the time. Also I was towing my RV to FL and I cant tell you how many times I had semis try to pass me going up hill. Now my truck is gas (ram 6.4L) but even on the worst east coast (dont laugh) grades I can easily go faster

Nothing drives me nuts as an RV owner as seeing some 1/2 Ton towing a 30+ trailer with the nose of the truck pointed way up in the air. Minimum get a weight distributing hitch, second your probably overloaded. Yes most half tons could in theory tow my RV, but it would be on the edge if you fully load it out with

we had also had problems in the military that the newer diesels weren’t on the road enough for the DPF to burn off, so it became an issue cause we would have to take them off base and drive them on the interstate to let it go through the regen. On base they spend 80+% of their time just idling or driving under 20mph.

Yeah, my old 2006 2500 4x4 was a 5.7 5 speed and I was lucky to get 16 even on the best days of babying it. The new one is a 6 speed I am sure that helps too.

The 6.4L in the RAM comes with the same 100K warranty as the Cummins, past that who knows though...lol I guess I will find out some day. Also on long road trips empty I have averaged as high as over 19MPG from FL to northern WV.

Yeah, its true. My older Ram 2500 5.7L could tow my 30ft travel trailer ok, until I had to go up a 8% grade. It could do it long as I slowed down to like 55 or maybe less, but it was annoying and usually running 3500 rpm+ the whole way watching the gas needle dive. So when I got my new truck I still couldn’t justify

Saw something like that when we were in Turkey doing operation northern watch with our 16s. Pilot declared an inflight emergency, landed, taxi’d right to the porta-jon shutdown and jumped out, and we all laughed like crazy.

You do realize the military places you in jobs basically 100% on ability...or at least attempts too. There were plenty of people of different races/genders/ethnicities in my career field but it required high asvab scores to do it...those that could stayed and did great...those that couldnt cook. I dont want some

Agreed I have driven through water that deep up on my grill with 33s but it was a very slow river. Water that fast you’d have to be stupid.

The “Valve” is probably just a hole in the bottom...lol and thats where the other 40% of the air comes from.

I think the advertising is definitely part of it. I would much rather watch indy or WRC than NASCAR, but usually I dont even know its on until I see the results on tv.

Yeah mines gas I dont tow enough long distances to justify the extra diesel costs.

I get get single digits in my Dodge 2500 easily worst I ever got was towing about 10K lbs in the WV/VA mountains averaged about 6MPG through that area....lol Usually I get about 16-17 if I baby it and its empty. Usually between 14-15.5 is the normal range but its also a 6500 LB Air Brake design... I actually consider

I speed in va, but I also make sure I am not the fastest speeder nor do it alone....and never speed near wythville thats just a huge freaking revenue generating speed trap (I-81/I-77) my wife has gotten a couple tickets through there... that area I definitely do the limit.

To be fair farmington was just down the road from my old house and I doubt they had more than a couple cops. Its a very small town chances are there is only one or two cops on duty at any given time there.

Yep, I had a 2004 Ram 2500 with only 100K miles on it...I washed it all the time even during winter etc...I swear you go outside one day and the rust just appears overnight on fenders, underside, transmission pan etc. Then I moved to florida and I see trucks down here I havent seen in 20 years up north still running

I had a neighbor we used to call Ricky Bobby, he had like a brown 1984 camaro.... with a Cadillac emblem on the front.... he lost his license due to a DUI and used to go outside and just Rev it up all the time even like midnight...once night right after he got his license back he decided he needed more beer or

I was amazed when I moved and didn’t have to pay personal property tax in my new state...it was like a pay raise in itself. Even better no state income tax ftmfw!!!

I will have to watch it later since I am at work, but did they mention the 3 north guys, 2 facing each other so one can shoot the other if the run and the 3rd is usually even a higher rank so he can shoot the other 2 if they both run.
