It’s fascinating. A woman I work with was telling me yesterday that her teenaged daughter is glued to her phone all day watching “amateur videos of people doing things”...like makeup, shopping, unboxing, and crafts. So when this woman noticed her daughter had gone down an hours-long wormhole of soap-making videos, she

Oh good, the “its happened before, why say anything about it now” brigade.

The kids were in on it and deserve to be kicked out. I don't know why anyone is invested in the Pollyanna narrative that they were ignorant, the rich always work with their kids to cheat the system.

Sadly I know that Kourtney and Rob both have college degrees. That was before/during the beginnings of the Kardashian kraze. The rest obviously saw no need. Not sure the younger ones even finished HS?

I’m sure that’s her goal. Probably worships Kylie.

Soooo... USC has to throw her out, right? A fraudster (let’s not kid ourselves; she knew there was chicanery in her admission) who has clearly demonstrated that school isn’t important to her and that she doesn’t want to be there? Get. Out. You have to throw them all out, even the unfortunate ones who didn’t know that

Her Twitter feed is just absolutely AWFUL. It’s 10-out-of-10 on the “hate-read-o-meter” scale. Paris Hilton is a rocket scientist compared to this ditz.

As a parent of a child who watches You Tube videos, I don’t get the idea of watching You Tube videos and I assume my kid is wasting a bunch of time.

I don’t get it why she needed help getting into USC. She’s a mean girl from wealthy parents with 1.3 million followers on IG and YT. She’s got to be a tremendously dumb not to get into USC.

She isn’t even really, really, really ridiculously good looking!

You know they’re hot when, at 17, they’ve already developed that post-plastic surgery face.

One of the few things I consider myself an absolute socialist on is public schooling. I know it won’t solve all the problem, but public schools being attached to property taxes are one of the worst things we’ve allowed. Granted, there are many kids nowadays who do legitimately graduate from public high schools who

It took me a while to realize that the OJ sign was a reference to Olivia Jade and not OJ Simpson. I thought she was showing “school spirit” by promoting former alumni.

More proof that this “influencer” bullshit needs to die.

At 19, Donald Trump was just some rich jock who liked to party instead of going to class.

She’d already got a youtube channel and an instagram where she gets paid thousands per sponsored post, she’s way past the reality show phase.

She seems like someone born to extreme privilege and has not only never been told No, but has been constantly told Yes to things she hasn’t ever asked. But at least she didn’t buy all the Aids medicine and quadruple  its price. So she has that going for her.

I guess I’m thinking is what a lot of us are thinking: We thought Felicity and William were one of the good ones.  Darn.

I usually don’t like to pass judgment on 19-year-olds, but holy hell is Olivia Jade tempting me. I didn’t know that she existed half an hour ago, and now she’s skyrocketed up to Martin Shkreli-levels of insufferability.

I spend my Saturday afternoons volunteering at Upward Bound at Pace University, an extracurricular program that provides college prep and counseling for low-income, first-generation, college-bound high school students.
