Funny about the older viewers comment, considering the only people I know who watch this are my parents who are pushing 70.

As important as both original versions of QAF were to me growing up, I just couldn’t bring myself to watch this. As a Floridian, Pulse still feels like yesterday. With mass shootings still being so frequent it feels unconscionable to me to use a nightclub shooting as the setup for this. QAF covered some very serious…
All my grandma does all day is watch Fox News and TBN, which is non-stop preaching and grifting, and apparently their own news which from what little I could handle when walking past is even more extreme than Fox. I think what pisses me off the most is when they have people call in and they basically do tele-faith…
The way Sony’s been acting about this movie I have to admit I found it incredibly amusing to scroll down and see the D grade. They seem to think they have gold here, and are trying to use the cast from this in everything ever.
She won a decent chunk! Poor Yvie was literally the only one on this season to win no money at all.
Was genuinely not expecting to get so emotional over this trailer. One of the best trailers Marvel has ever done, and the Black Panther series just does not miss with the music. Heavily looking forward to November now.
Oh man, that takes my back to my grandpa. Freshly brewed at home wasn’t hot enough for him, as soon as it finished dripping he’d then stick the mug in the microwave for a WHILE. The inside of his mouth must have been pure scar tissue or something. I wonder if it’s something he picked up during his service in WW2.
This was just so joyful and fun, and exactly what I needed. The full circle family moments, like her mom giving her the final costume after the hulk costume debacle, was just incredibly touching and sweet. This show also managed to completely blindside me with the mutant line. I was fully expecting him to say…
We know from set photos taken from the streets where they filmed that Deever and the DODC agents were originally N.I.C.E., so there were definitely some rewrites happening here. Probably just an occasion where they realized that it was superfluous to have a separate org when it could just be part of DODC, but yeah.
A D-? Are you kidding me? Not to be that guy, but if you thought this episode was a D-, why are you even reviewing Drag Race? Some of the things you thought were bad (the reveals runway and the lipsync) were flat out great. Anyways, I can’t wait to see Raja bitch about the plunger fakeout next week.
Agreed on the episode count thing. If you are only going to do 6, then keep it tight for those 6 episodes, or make them long enough to cover everything. They have variable length to work with, but they still always come out to around the same total length as a whole season, and it’s doing these series a disservice.
The weird part of this is, is that if I didn’t know better, I’d think we still had like 3 episodes left with where we currently are in the story. The finale is gonna need to be longer to satisfying tie up loose threads (we still need a reconciliation between Kamala and Nadia, Bruno’s decision about CalTech, family fall…
Trying to not get into spoilers, but there’s basically nothing in the film without Miller in it. They’d have to reshoot the entire thing, and it was 200M to begin with.
Considering that there’s a casting call out for an older teen Billy for House of Harkness, I wouldn’t be surprised if she shows up as early as that. Or rather I should say it doesn’t specifically name Billy, but the description is him to a T, including that the character is proudly gay.
Another point that I haven’t seen brought up yet is that she’s not actually a djinn. The Clandestine are their own thing that only came to this dimension within the past century, and were just mistaken for djinn.
Exactly, it’s straight out ignoring how well it’s doing. Maverick had the 2nd best 4th weekend of all time just now, beating out Black Panther and The Force Awakens. It’s on track to beat out Titanic’s domestic gross FFS.
As a Floridian, I kind of don’t care how well it’s handled. I just can’t watch it, maybe ever.
I really enjoyed the superteasers they made. I actually laughed at multiple things, unlike almost any acting challenge ever (that Deja thumbs up really got me, same with Willow and the meal voucher). The judging though really lost me. Kerri should not have even been low for this. How Jorgeous was safe is beyond me,…
It’s probably like the lipsticks on All-Stars, and producers definitely hold them for the queens until after the lipsync and they pretend they had them the whole time. And according to UNHhhh, Trixie said the producer uses a temperature gun to make sure its at most 66 degrees before even turning the lights on in the…
