I was insulted by them including her in the game too, without any knowledge of her prejudiced or absurd views. It was clearly stunt casting for the sake of stunt casting. I hadn’t heard the character say anything in the game that made me think “I’m glad they got her for the role and threw out the old voice actress”.…
Winning battles, completing single-player towers, completing the story mode and even progressing through the game’s tutorial each require an online connection to be validated.
If Konami is going to release an arcade collection, can we get Ninja Turtles, X-Men, and Simpsons?
Given how badly they botched the Silent Hill 2&3 remaster, I don’t know that I want Konami to try again.
I suspect this game will get as much single player DLC as GTA V did, which is to say practically none. Some of the online content might creep into single player, but they aren’t going to sell you a new side story when they can sell you a bunch of gold for your online character with less work.
I had a similar experience at Infinity War. Most movies I watch will have the theater react to a funny bit or a jump scare, but it is extremely rare that I’ve watched an entire theater get that invested in a movie from beginning to end.
They aren’t really paradoxes though, given the rules they established for their universe. Any changes you make in the past don’t impact your present or future, only creating alternate timelines where those changes happened.
The way they established their time travel rules is that anything happening in your past is still in your past and thus cannot change. Changes you make in the past just create an alternate timeline rather than affect your present or future. If Tony snapped Thanos and co from existence, it just means they created a…
They’ve said before that they filmed Endgame before they filmed Captain Marvel and still hadn’t quite worked out what they wanted to do with her character, which may be why she was on the back burner here and only used as some extra muscle in the finale. Her power set is still pretty overpowered, but I’m hopeful that…
They can go either way for both. From a prequel perspective, Black Widow is probably one of the characters we know the least about in regards to an origin, so there’s plenty of room to explore her past. Likewise, with Wanda and Vision there are gaps in their shared history that could be shown. We went from them both…
I hope Valve calls his bluff (though the cynic in me knows they won’t). If Valve’s cut was such a sticking point for developers, why aren’t they flocking to the Epic Store in droves instead of having to be bribed like they are now? I’m not suggesting that Valve deserves a bigger cut (far from it, when you consider how…
Technically, yes, they did choose that job. A lot of these people have been striving to break into the video game industry since they were young. It’s actually a pretty competitive market because there are a lot of nameless faces behind the scenes working on any of the games you’ve come to know and love. But, the…
Why do they not have multiple teams working on a rotation to release the new content? If Activision (evil as they are) can have three teams rotating on pumping out the yearly Call of Duty, why can Epic not have a series of teams working on the next few sets of content patches. I get that a new game mode is not the…
The layout of that first picture makes it look like one of the guards is pointing to the other guy and saying “there’s a man with a gun right there”
I thought sending death threats to developers and journalists for simple things like a game delay or the audacity to hire women was why the gaming community had a bad reputation?
So, they’re essentially selling you half of an Xbox for only $50 off? If it were 50% off, I’d consider it.
It looks to be their version of the NES/SNES Classics, the PS Classic, and whatever thing Sega will be releasing later. It wouldn’t surprise me if the intrepid folks who were able to hack the other classic consoles would be able to do the same for this and allow you to add any arcade game that you want. It wouldn’t…
While I can understand the notion that you’re trying to remain true to the character (after all, no one makes a deal if someone paints themselves blue or green, or purple, or whatever), I think this is one of those areas where even if you aren’t doing it intentionally, you have to ask yourself if what you’re doing…
I’m fine with the thought of Link being a girl. That would make the series far ahead of its time with the same sex pairing of Link and Zelda. Of course, it’s long since been established that Link is a boy, but maybe Nintendo can just add a fourth timeline to their established history where Link was a girl.
