I’m curious if some of the incorrect spacing and shifted data is because the book is curved. That wouldn’t explain what went wrong with the rehearsal sheet, but it might explain the rest.

I still don’t understand why EA is so adamant on using Frostbite for everything. I can understand wanting to keep your engine in house if for no other reason but the financial savings of having to license other engines, but from the little bit I understand about video game development, it seems to make more sense for…
To be fair, there’s probably more content in the game now that has been created since Notch sold off Minecraft than there was when he created it.
Yeah, I like that you don’t know what will happen until the haunt is revealed, there’s just always that random chance that the revealed traitor will already have the item necessary for a victory condition while standing in the room he has to be in while the haunt starts. It usually works in favor of the traitor,…

I was drawn to the concept when the original game was announced and have enjoyed it immensely since then. I’d say the only flaw to the game is the truly random nature of the game. Since there’s no strict narrative driving what items you find, what rooms you find, and where, there’s always the off chance that you…

I should play Little Big Planet or Tearaway again.
Which would then beg the question of why they would want to emulate it
The problem with the theory that Marvel copied the live-action Dragon Ball movie is that it requires someone to remember that the live-action Dragon Ball movie existed.
You can buy a tire for that new RC car.
One of the main problems is that it isn’t sustainable. If every game released is a “live service” time sink, your consumer base only has so much spare time to give to a game. And if every game released has effectively the same multiplayer game play mechanics, there’s little to no incentive for players to buy into…
If its anything like GTA Online, then you’ll be lucky if any updates make it to the single player campaign. All post launch content is designed to funnel players into the online component where they can buy into the microtransaction economy.
A brand new console game coming out for $20? They’re going to make us buy all the different rosters aren’t they?
They could always just add private or invite-only lobbies, like they have in GTA Online. It’s hard to get griefed if you’re only playing with people you know.
That’s a lot like saying “why buy a game console when you can build a gaming computer”. The cost comparison will always be subjective since any hardware you’re building yourself will depend on what you get, whereas buying the console (or in this case the classic console) will have a somewhat fixed price and come with…
In Nintendo’s defense, they did step up production when they rereleased these classic consoles last time, so it feels like the bulk of the intended consumer base for these has managed to lay hands on them by now. I’ve managed to see stacks of both in several brick and mortar stores in my area, so it’s a much better…

I’d be inclined to agree with you, but when companies like Take Two (Rockstar’s parent company) are bragging to their shareholders about record breaking profits (being the money left over after all of those operating expenses) from GTA’s online economy, it seems like they’re just fleecing their customers. When EA…
I would argue that they should have had to surrender $5 million just for writing the song, whether it borrowed heavily from another song or not.
Is that Octo the Huge, from Star Tropics?
It’s probably the exact opposite problem. Gambling with currency that can be purchased with real money probably opens a can of worms with the ESRB and the government that Rockstar doesn’t want to deal with. If the “are loot boxes gambling” argument going on right now would pale in comparison to “is gambling gambling”.
I’m curious and a bit concerned with how this may pan out. There’s not much chance that they’ll implement an online component for this game without some sort of microtransaction economy serving as a backbone for the gameplay. They made way too much money off of GTA Online to not try it here. But at the same time, what…
