The dreaming over hounds of love is a ballsy take, and in this case...poorly supported. It almost feels like the writer stopped listening to hounds of love before the 9th wave section

in all honesty (and ironically), jan getting yeeted from the committee might pave the way for “super white” music like prog rock and devo getting in over “earnest working man” bluesy white artists or bands that dress like they walked out of either CBGB’s or a steinbeck novel
Again, if you are comparing the performance of modern cars to old cars as a reason to consider them less desirable/valuable you’re missing the point. If you want spreadsheet supremacy just bite the bullet and get a hellcat already
because everyone knows that ferrari is the bellwether of the auto industry. Remember when everyone was jamming v12 engines into everything and the big three couldn’t make enough mid-engined wedges to satisfy demand?
In fairness, their take would be something along the lines of “here’s how black people in america are the real victims of the conflict”
An element of trump-ism that has seeped into greater society is the binary idea that everything is a transaction with a clear winner and loser, with no room for grey or nuance (that is, unless you’re a weak coward). As far back and as complex as the conflict is, it’s just about all grey and it sucks that chosen…
If he wanted to avoid the ire of the media he really should have just named the song “from the river to the sea”
They must have this tagged along with the harry potter game as “dredge up every six months to make the same points though there are no new developments”
anyone benchmarking performance numbers to indicate “overpricedness” is missing the point. Yes, a modern civic may be faster 0-60 than a 50s V12 ferrari but they are completely different experiences. People have tastes in things like architecture where older things might be preferred even though they’re not technically…
agree. I especially like the folks who say their 911 is supremely reliable because they spend tens of thousands of dollars a year on meticulous maintenance
A lot of the vintage ferrari values are more based on provenance as an art piece than how you’d typically value a car. Stuff like “built by the factory for ascari, who ran this car at X now-historical races and won Y” and “not that model of ferarri in general, but this exact car” is what drives up the value.
i immediately googled his whereabouts (couldn’t remember if he was in FL or AZ, seems too young to be 60). what a nutjob
I am very much enjoying so many’s interpretation of this man’s name being “a pre-internet japanese person’s idea of a ‘very american’ name”
What? You chord under the street or something?
but...but...vote or die?
“but muh attention”
He’s from nashville, but is actually a songwriter’s kid which (kind of?) explains it. I am jokingly convinced most country artist names are impossibly anglo, made up stage names and imagine some kid in an executive’s office: “you got a great sound kid, but the name- herchel abdul kowalski? that’ll never sell. pick…
The downside of that is devs have more “quirky” hoops to jump through. Crossplatform selection would potentially be like the wii again (shudders in madden all play)
The “split the system to be local 2p” furhthering of function like joycons and multiplayer DS game downloading sounds like a best case scenario for having two screens without significantly affecting the docked experience (lest it be a wiiU deluxe) or dev friendliness
