Yeah, I have nothing. It was one of those days when I started watching car videos, clicked on a "suggestion" video, then another, then another, and then watched that one probably before I entered the weird part of YouTube. You know, when everything turns to zit popping and clips from Maury about teenagers in love

I'll look again, but I couldn't find it on a quick search a few minutes ago.

Not to be a party pooper, but I remember the original YouTube video that was full-length many years ago. They went into this knowing they were going to ruin the Ford and salvage the running gear to build another. Frame rot, I believe. Great video, but the short clips (which are apparently all that still exist) don't

The Kiwis get mad when you call them Aussies.

Came here to make sure someone else had said it already. Mine would have looked so much better with chrome.

Sales are sales. Fleets are going to buy more of the same brand if they are durable and easier on maintenance costs than the other manufacturers. They'll stick with a company for the same reasons a normal consumer would.

28 year old American checking in. I haven't heard it even once in my life and I come from a multi-generational southern family which has been in this region since the 1700's.

They filmed part of the last movie here too. Most of the Need For Speed movie was shot here and I know people who make a full-time living from being "extras" on TV and movie sets. Hollywood taxes are insane, so Atlanta started giving tax breaks to production companies and they came in like the plague.

Agreed. If they're picking on just the LGBT participants, the outlash is deserved. But if they're banning all promotions which are on the same plane of personal, religious, or social advertisement, this isn't an issue.

Lamborghini of Atlanta donated one to my city (Alpharetta) to use in parades for a weekend. People saw it on the highway, threw up pictures on social media and everyone jumped to conclusions about the city wasting tax money because they had no idea what the real story was. It went so viral that the mayor and police

Ask 75%+ of people who own a BMW or Mercedes what the designation numbers actually designate. I bet they won't have a clue.

+1 And I hate supercars.

I want someone to do a video like this with an additional camera on the fuel gauge. Just for the sake of curiosity because I bet you could see it move quite a bit.

You buy a C3/C4 and swap the entire drivetrain, building it to rally height in the process. Sell off all of the interior bits and surviving glass from the C7, and you may break even on the transplant car's price. Cage it, harness it, Baja it. Be awesome.

Sort of like when a client visits our shop (second generation carpenter) it can't be full of the latest and greatest "designer" tools like self-cleaning sanders and a $5,000 collection of Freud router bits. Things like that make the impression that you either A.) Overcharge or B.) Waste money you don't have. I don't

Great write up. When we built our car, the five man team put in $200/mo each until the car was finished. The rest of the running costs were split up on race day. We never had an issue with non-payment, but I can definitely understand how most probably would. I'm going to refer people to this article when they talk

I would like it without the corporate grill. It has some nice lines until you get to the grill. That kills it for sure. I like the color contrast, but not the design.

I know everyone has been screaming for a new El Camino since before Pontiac was obliterated, but I can actually see a Ute doing well here. Maybe full-time AWD optional with coupe and sedan configurations. The days of body-on-frame true compacts have passed, but the Utes could have a presence here. I'm convinced of it.

Nice price, but only if I were an Audi guy. I paid $3900 for a rubber bumper MGB, so it seems like something I would buy if in the market for an oddball Euro classic.

Why does a car need eyebrows and a corporate grill which looks like a cleft palate?
