Hollywood has never bothered to reply to these movies, much like they haven’t responded to Tyler Perry. The audience for this flick doesn’t want films from the establishment, because they won’t trust them or they will find it pandering.

That’s a very simplistic explanation of terminal ballistics. Bullet construction and sectional density are important as well. Not to mention the military keeps developing lower and lower velocity 5.56 ammo with heavier and heavier projectiles, so velocity is not the be all end all. There’s more going on than just KE =

I get it, I just don’t like it? I don’t think it’s funny.

Brief titties or ass and one or two f bombs = PG. Gratuitous titties, groinage of either sex = R.

Titanic wasn’t R though. It was PG IIRC.

Can you hear the dialog this time around?

Kamala just isn’t for me, not a knock on the character or the quality of her portrayal. I was referring to the book though, which also wasn’t for me.

Captain Marvel was one of my top books as a kid, so I was excited for the first one even after it was clear it was Carol and not Mar Vell. But I quit reading comics before Monica was a thing and Ms Marvel isn’t for me, so I’m probably skipping this.

That was 100% my response to Inception I gotta say.

He’s the cinematic version of Yngwie Malmsteen, which is probably a little unfair to Yngwie. Your audience SHOULD understand your film from one viewing or you failed at your job, it’s not a contest to prove how much smarter you are.

LOL, limited by law, but easily hacked. I’ll get passed at 45 mph by kids doubled up on their bikes every day.

Sur-Ron is the rig of choice for these dipshits, and no, I don’t know why the cops don’t seize them, since they don’t even pretend to be bicycles.

Out here in coastal SoCal, where the parents are wealthy AND idiotic, there are now “gangs” of dumbass over privileged kids tearing around on $5K E-bikes while completely ignoring traffic laws. I give it 2 years tops before the Gov starts (correctly) treating them like motor vehicles with

LOL, Frankfurt in no was resembled East Germany, beyond the sameness of post war concrete housing. My pops was stationed in Berlin in 77 and I crossed over all the time. East Berlin was a fucking grim vista of 7 story block housing sameness. And I assume the rest wasn’t much better, because the train to Berlin would

I didn’t say that at all. I said an unpowered Shang Chi would be far more budget and FX friendly.  But, now that you bring it up, I hated Shang Chi the movie.

That’s nit picking. Are you claiming Tony Stark is unpowered? There’s no practical difference between innate powers and artifact powered powers in the MCU.

If they could have resisted giving Shang Chi powers, when for the vast majority of his existence NOT having powers was kind of the point, they would have less of a FX crunch for his films and more tonal variety from the standard MCU fare.  But,no, fucking light beams it is.

I’ve seen them all except II and I just have an empty MI folder place-holding in my head. It’s like a Foo Fighters record. I know I heard it, but I couldn’t tell you anything about it.

Having lived in a VW camper, pretty much the last thing you want to do is actually cook food in there. The stove was good as a heater and to boil a kettle, but I’m sure there are better modern alternatives. I’d buy a regular Vanagon and add a platform, unless you can’t live without the pop up.

I assume this is intentional and directly related to the budget. Which is stupid. If you can’t or won’t afford to pay for actual super heroing in your super hero show, just don’t make it.
