And I will say, it’s not like I have broad experience with it’s competitors. The Urus, the Macan and an older Cayenne is it. I did own a first year R35.

Counterpoint: One of my clients has a Urus and it’s ridiculously fun. Would I spend my own money on one? No, but I’m a cheap bastard.
Yeah, a MILLION seems ambitious, and utterly unbeatable, especially if they can breed with humans.
Just don’t use that slide.
If TMZ doesn’t know, there’s probably nothing worth knowing. Unless they wouldn’t pay up for info on a mid 50s dude like they would for Britney.
That Ranchero is in Miami. You’d better go through that thing with a magnifying glass. If that was an AZ car I’d on the phone already.
I think? I haven’t really checked. But the only reason I have HBO is because AT&T. I wouldn’t pay for it. TCM though I would.
I never had filmstruck because my BIL was torrenting like mad when he lived with us, and my wife is an ex Barnes and Noble employee, so we have the first couple hundred Criterions on disc. She would just buy them in order and stack her employee discount with the big sale. But as soon as it went stand alone I…
Why they have never made this it’s own platform is a mystery. I’d sign up immediately. TCM + Criterion and I’d never need another service.
That’s also when we got a lot of the problematic Läther material though. I love Zappa but I have a real hard time with Bobby Brown and the rest of the Dancing Fool anti disco shit.
Well, Zappa got pushed into an orchestra pit by an audience member and it fucked him up pretty good. I’m sure he had zero tolerance after that.
901s were great party speakers that were way too placement sensitive. 701s,501s,301s were ok. That’s pretty much the end of my appreciation for BOSE products.
Friday night, Saturday night are the biggest days? Be my guess. Sunday night is a work night (ask any bartender if Sunday night is a weekend shift) and maybe Sunday matinee wasn’t that busy, especially in church going places.
UFC guys aren’t boxers. At all. Even the “best” strikers in UFC would get absolutely destroyed in a boxing ring. And they don’t have the thousands of hours in boxing gyms to teach them how to act. Fair enough, their sport is mostly wrestling, but there’s a big culture gap.
There was backlash at the time for sure. Like it wasn’t Wes enough or something.
A new Gilbert book harms everyone.
Yeah, I had read the books way too many times as a kid. I have that problem with adaptations. Wasn’t a comment on the quality, more the completion percentage.
The only one I can watch is the one all the Wes heads dislike: The Life Aquatic.
I’d say there are 25 shows I start for every one I finish EASILY. I think participation on forums like this skews towards complete-ists as well. I’d honestly be shocked if the overall average of people watching stuff start to finish is over 50% in 2023.
I’m just pointing out that 95% might be optimistic. I’ll bet 37% is pretty average.
