If a turd can menace.
If a turd can menace.
Ew.
I would have rather seen a decent PHEV...
Can’t think of a company I’d rather buy a vehicle from less than General Motors; and I have 2 Nissans so that is saying a lot!
not much. those both look lift the lift kit was installed before the bigger tires arrived.
As we move towards electrification, front grilles will soon be seen as a passe design element of a bygone era of vehicles powered by ancient ICE technology. When that happens the bigger the grille, the worse they’ll look to the modern consumer. As a big, thirsty, 98% grille faced elephant, I can think of no better…
So, who ever is currently in charge of Chevrolet’s design team (I suspect Michael bay) needs to be fired and has no business doing this.
I was kinda like “Okay, o0okay, this is fine”
If I were going to rip off an old lady and flip the truck I probably wouldn’t brag about the deal I got on Jalopnik.
Because the individual most likely lowballed the very elderly seller and is a douchebag car salesperson.
I’d have been tempted to sell half my fleet to buy this thing.
Read car salesman takes advantage of elderly person- now if they offered it for this price then no, but if they were looking for ‘offers’ and he swept in showed them a blue book value and paid it he deserves to be sentenced to a long period of searching for 10mm sockets in a field of poison ivy
Except “now you can get a cheaper basic car” isn’t how it’s going to play out. An ultra-basic model will theoretically exist, but no dealers will order it, it’ll be a pain to get, and the moderately-equipped stuff we’re used to will be marked up.
After browsing the comments, I actually see that I’m not alone now. The more I see this thing, the more sense it makes to me. I’m not saying that I’m in love with the design or anything, but I really do think that it will end up being as successful as any other Tesla model. And I’m agreeing with the initial argument…
Honestly, I like it. I think Blade-Runner/Total Recall/Delorean retro-futurism is a lot cooler than the formless tacticool bullshit for red sweaty dads looking like thumbs with goatees that passes for trucks today.
Idk California laws but it’s still a prototype with mfg plates. So there might be special allowances if it is still regarded as a prototype.
It’s a prototype with manufacturer plates... ever auto company does this, just not usually this ugly
They just need to sell Ford loot boxes. For $100 a pop you can open one and hope that it has an option you want for your vehicle. It will mostly be terrible paint colors and ugly plaid patterns for your seats, but you can always hope.
