It’s really no more tiresome than hearing “Save the Manuals” all the time.

The point is to say that you own a big truck with a manual; that’s it. It’s not more fun. It doesn’t drive better. It doesn’t do anything better than the auto Ram 2500, unless the automatic you’re comparing it to is broken or defective somehow.

Yeah....but I wouldn’t have gone for the manual if Dodge gave it 100 less HP. I understand “fun” is a major factor in purchasing a vehicle, but this is a work truck. It’s made significantly worse at its job by the addition of a manual transmission.

Let’s be honest. Only a small percentage of vehicle owners actually need them for practical purposes. And of those, quite a few could make due with a smaller vehicle...

I agree. I have a ‘17 CX-5 GT and love it but would love it more if it was at least plug-in or all electric. And for the love of Miata can I please get an off-road setting!?

When will they make an all electric or hybrid version? Diesel for passenger cars is dead. Who greenlit this waste of money and resources? How many millions of dollars is Mazda going to lose?

When everything is becoming a plugin hybrid, does it even make sense to deal with diesel anymore? (fewer pumps, the DEF fluid, etc.) Does it feel like there’s even a point? Unless you want towing torque? But a CX-5 isn’t really setup to tow. 

Having kids is terrible for the environment.
