Aside from his own great recordings, his songs have been done by everyone from Aretha & Roy Orbison to Snoop Dogg & Jello Biafra. He should be in every music hall of fame possible.

As I heard the music swell, I both kind of dreaded that they were going to go out on such an obnoxiously anachronistic song, while admitting that it did make for a badass build to the end credits cut.

As a queer person, I didn’t read it as a Bury Your Gays at all – they didn’t die because of homophobic brutality or tragedy, they died because they were old and content, it’s really the most beautiful, sweet, and sad episode of TV I’ve seen in a long time.

Have these people never heard of those little discs of cleaner actually designed for this purpose? I have no idea how well they worked, but this doesn’t seem like much of a “hack” in any sense of the word, unless it is being used as “this tik tok person is a hack”.
