we bought one of these back in 1998 on a lark, because the tech was interesting and they were oh-so-creepy. the cat we had at the time HATED IT ON SIGHT. and then when we turned it on, it got even worse... our cat had it in for that poor Furby. she would hiss at it, stalk it and attack it. we’d move it, but she’d find

manhattans really need bitters, though -- especially with something as sweet as benedictine. can i have your share?

plain old Valentina is ok, but it’s the Valentina Black Label that is my go-to.

two hours and forty-three minutes of Daniel Craig is just fine by me. more please.

tragic take.

thank you -- i believe i will!

and the west coast. and anyone who thinks that ranch and bleu cheese are the same, no matter what their consistency, needs to have their tastebuds checked anyway.

i am vowing to remember this next time our jar is empty. we just purchased a new jar, so brain, i’m trusting you....

i can totally see this happening. Neil just made donald’s revenge list.

honestly, i think the media would cover it because it takes place in Hollywood, the details are so horrific, and the whole thing seems like it could have been preventable. the connection to Drew Carey is just a detail that puts it over the top.

as someone who cannot seem to find a deodorant (natural or otherwise) that doesn’t cause my pits to break out in red, irritated rashes, i have largely given up using them, too — so my question is, if you don’t use them, what do you do instead? i’ve used a dusting of cornstarch and that helps a lot, but it’s not good

this makes me want to watch Big Adventure, honestly.

i use our mashed potato masher. but i like the tongs idea too.

oh damn, in my haste i meant Anna (Word Nerd!) and typed Sarah. i was wondering what happened to Sharon. She was one of my faves. I was hoping she would turn up on the final show.

agreed. i stopped playing maybe a year ago, but the final show is one for the ages. what legends Matt & Sarah are.

industry plant? come on. citation needed on that one. that sounds like a rumor or even a conspiracy theory. she comes across as far more authentic than, say, Lana Del Rey, who is radiates a manufactured vibe.

no, it’s 11 ounces divided by 2, or 5.5 ounces : D
