it’s a really fun game, particularly for families at the holidays. i like that the game goes pretty fast, so you can rope family members in for a short game, and also that it’s collaborative instead of competitive. you’re not playing against each other, but against the disease (which typically wins, which isn’t so

has anybody else been listening to the news about this and envisioning how a game of the tabletop game “Pandemic!” plays out? this morning’s news about one of the infected people going through LAX had me thinking, “omg, THE POTENTIAL DISEASE VECTORS THERE!!”

i signed up for Tony Hawk’s awhile back because it sounded fun and i wanted to see what he would do with it. he doesn’t send stuff very often, and besides, it’s Tony Hawk, so i’m happy to support him.

not even HE took is Randian lyrics seriously.

seconded. if you haven’t seen it, it’s a must-watch.

that video is so great -- it really captures just how FUN their shows were. they were definitely serious, accomplished musicians, but they had a really playful side, too, and they always goofed around with each other onstage and with the audience.

i swear, this was every Gen-X Rush fan. i didn’t take up any instrument, let alone drums, but in my head i was right there like Nick on air drums. his dad shaking his head at the end, omg, so real.
