I can’t agree. What everyone claims they love about the E39 M5 was that it was and understated sleeper sledgehammer. It only had 6 or 7 M badges.

Could you please keep these opinions to yourself for at least another 2-3 years? I should have garage space available by then to own a 996/986 Porsche, and I feel that the fried-egg sentiment is one opinion that is helping keep those prices at least semi-sane for the time being.

I’m irrationally excited about these. Ever since I traded in my CTS V-Sport, I regretted it. It was a great car, and I just... ugh... I really screwed the pooch there.

This is the answer.

Funky? Different? 4x4? Less than 15k? I got you Sean.

The previous owner of my last car swapped in a solid metal shift knob. Hot days were one thing but I swear the cold mornings were even worse. On those days I would shift by tugging on the leather boot, which was ridiculous, but I still miss that car.

A Z3 w/ a 3.0 is the best version. Engine is lighter (aluminum) vs the S52, but with similar power and you don’t pay the M-tax. Comes with bigger rotors than the other Z3's, too.  Definitely get one with sport seats, the base seats are absolute garbage.

I’m in the same boat. Really looking for a Z3 3.0. I really want the sport seats.

I’ve been sorta in the market for a (normal) Z3. Generally higher mileage, late 90s examples are selling for about $8k give or take.

Exactly!

That’s pretty awesome. And Han shot first.

Misogyny much?

I still have my Panasonic LX-200U LaserDisc player.

I’m so glad someone picked the Element! I wish they still made them. I would love to own a new one I could put 200,000 miles worth of adventures into. My friend had one and I absolutely loved it. The rubberized floors were great. Dirt covered clothes? Throw it in the back. Wet clothes from the beach? Throw it in the

That’s a swivel bench? How cool is that?!

All I want is the Fiat Panda Cross

Still, they find a way for be caught flat footed by every major shift in the market.

That was the least exciting fake drag race I’ve ever watched.

I picked up a manual Abarth last year with almost every option except the Recaro seats. The discount I got on it was astronomical. Like way too good to pass up. A comparable MX-5 was easily $10k more. The car has been great and it gets a lot of positive comments. I’ve never had so many chats with strangers at the gas

You can still get all the parts for the ORIGINAL 124 Spider that was last built 30 years ago, Not sure why this would be of any particular concern. The motor is used in a pile of Fiat, Dodge, and Jeep models.
