Yup, Tavarish started his journey right here on the old Oppositelock forum. Before it died. As I recall, his first article was detailing, repairing and cleaning up an E39.

This is me. I had a Stinger Gt2, Id’ get about 12k out of rear tires. I had an M340i, got about 10k out of rear tires. Had an ID4 with 13k miles and the tire still had lots of life.
I spoke to the woman who bought mine last weekend. VW still doesn’t have an update ready for her.
With that infotainment, no thanks.
I had a 2021 Pro S for 14 months before trading it. It always charged, it always drove. The design was good, the interior was spacious, the seats were good but not great. The infotainment though, just like everyone has read, was atrocious. I would have to pull the interior door handle, sometime three times, before the…
I installed a 40A level 2 at my house. I did not have to update my service as I had capacity in my breaker box. With the install of the EVSE I do have a completely full box. So, as long as you have two available slots, you should be OK.

At least it isn’t XY 35 x-drive grand coupe BEV...
If it weighs less than 2700 pounds.
I wanted a sunroof shade, factory roof rack and or trailer hitch. Good seats and wasn’t willing to pay more than $50k MSRP. Ford dealers either don’t have them, even though they’re advertising they do. Or were asking $2-3K over MSRP. Plus, with the VW, I got three years free charging on EA.
The HVAC also has a scheduling option. So during cold months you can set the car to heat up to 70° at 7:15AM on Monday through Friday.
I previously had a GTI, A4, A6 and a Passat. I missing the glass sunroof with a vented cover. On hot days you could pop the sunroof but leave the shade closed. Hot air still could vent out.
VW has 3 years free charging on the EA network.
The retractable cover was one of the selling points for me. I was really interested in a Mach-e. But not shade was a ding.
