I never understood the appeal of convertibles until I drove one on a fall evening at dusk. The stars were coming and it was right at 70°. On a two lane road it was magical.

It’s more of an adventure when you drive it home!

Also, I took it to the Corvette race track. The two cars in front of me were a GT350 and a 680hp Mustang GT. I was able to stay right behind them on the straight. Now, I did warp the hell out of my rotors. But, I got a warranty!
