I was surprised to find out that my 2014 Chevy Volt has the “nice horn” button built into one of the steering wheel stalks. Press it and you’ll get three quick, muted beeps out of the horn which sound “friendly” in comparison to pressing the regular horn button.

I went the other way. I can tap easily enough, but I want ridiculous power when it’s warranted. Hella supertones are the way to go.
