I think it works ok in cars that are at least mild-hybrids or better.

Sharing this post from /r/subaru just to put some numbers on the actual fuel savings. 4 hours stopped, a tad over 1.7 gal saved.

> AMG factory driver Jules Gounon lapped Australia’s Mount Panorama Circuit in 1 minute 56.605 seconds, beating the GT car track record by 2.074 seconds.

Nothing is really “sold out” when you have enough money.

Don’t really care about all the other stuff, but a split tailgate is great! One of the best things about old Range Rovers and Land Cruisers.

Seeing a valve body always reminds me of the old DOS/Windows game Pipe Dream. Gotta set everything just right before the ooze flows!

I wonder how the 250GTO must have felt for its fortunate owners who had the chance to enjoy the car in the ‘60s and ‘70s?

The 2008 Impreza hatchback M/T has low range.

All this tells me is Honda needs to build a new S2000 like yesterday.

Sorry Dave, your flight’s been cancelled. The crew from two weeks ago had a bit of a fracas with a passenger and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Holy hyperlinks, Batman! I had to mouse over so many of them before finding the relevant one.

That doesn’t look like the standard Euro NCAP crash test...

Can confirm, I was that idiot 20 odd years ago even though it was “only” 300hp.

I’m very against the idea of the government telling people what they can or can’t buy, but I’m not against the idea of requiring HPDE classes and adding a different restriction code for vehicles depending on the top speed and perhaps more importantly acceleration figures.

Sounds like a Japanese Crown Vic. NP.

Say what you will about his business acumen, but Fisker has always made achingly beautiful cars. He should just go work for Ford or GM where someone else will be in charge of the books.

I was losing my mind thinking the rear window film on my Montero was starting to peel off. I’d look through the rear view mirror and I’d see those spots. But when I open the rear door to check directly the film is actually intact with no bubbles.

If the FIA really wanted be really pedantic about this, the distance between grid spots is a known formula so they could theoretically start him like a quarter of a lap back if they really wanted to....

He wasn’t allowed to drive to begin with so I don’t see how stricter licensing rules would have prevented this.

Back when the B7 A4 was new I saw news of a couple of kids who killed themselves speeding in the 2.0 TDI version. That would have been 150hp ish max, but they were clocked doing 200kph on a bridge and crashed into a lamp post after going over the crest.
