CarExpert just put out a very long towing review roundup and for most vehicles tested the mileage when towing was waaay worse. Like more than 3x the fuel consumption easily.

Best 600.

Hindsight 20/20 and all that, but:

It might be in a class with no competitors, but there’s still the overall win. Not that I expect it to have any chance against LMP2 and Hypercar though.

That could have been much worse. Camera guy just stood there like *insert analogy here*

Has to be #1 or #2. If it’s #2 then #1 has to be Hammond in the Jet Dragster.

Was it on video? From what I recall of the news back then it was Top Gear Magazine that was testing it which is why the track wasn’t fully covered in cameras.

Will always have a soft spot for the Suburban of this generation.

That was outed as a myth. Owners could bring their cars home whenever they want. There’s no requirement at all to keep the cars with Ferrari, though owners could opt to. I suppose some did, considering Supercar storage has turned out to be good business for some.

That’s because BMW is seemingly on a mission to make their cars as striking (read: ugly) as possible.

I think the comparison is appropriate. Even in Z07 trim the Z06 already has less aero than a standard GT3, so they’re more or less at a similar level of track special with each other.

The GT3RS OTOH is more of a road legal race car IMO. Very few manufacturers even bother to make a car that leans as much toward being an

Lambo and Civic owners aren’t playing top trumps with each other, and the Gallardo is still going to be faster in a stoplight to stoplight drag race while sounding better which is going to be 99% of its interactions with the FL5 Type R.
