That GR Yaris 3 cylinder sounds like it’ll be awesome in an Elise chassis, but IMO an even better buyer might be Honda so we wouldn’t have to K-swap it anymore.

Definitely a brain fart on my side thinking it was Briatore. They both start with “B” I guess?

Taki Inoue is claiming this title, but there are far worse drivers.

107% rule. It is actually in effect (reintroduced 2011), but you’d have to be spectactularly bad or unlucky to not make it, and the FIA will often allow a driver to compete anyway if he was at least inside the 107% during practice.

I remember reading another report that said it was literally first week on the job for the dude riding shotgun! Talk about baptism by fire.

IMO 350Z’s cleaner design was much better than the 370Z. Just look at it now and it’s a lot less busy.

IMO the single party system *might* work better for maintaining their stuff. A lot of infrastructure in the US goes unmaintained because it’s sexier for politicians to set budgets for new stuff than it is to maintain old. Over there if great leader says fix road, the road will probably get fixed.

The Maglev train from Shanghai airport is hella dope! Easily the fastest I’ve ever gone on land by a huge margin.

I’ll just leave this here:

To be fair, the european design institute was established in the ‘60s so they do pre-date popular use of their initialism.

You mean they made one of the world’s most awesome SUVs.

It burns blue. It doesn’t glow blue from the tank.

The dude pumping gas probably thought these guys just came over for a friendly gasoline fight!

The design on this prototype is the bomb!

I’d actually be more surprised if he retires now. He’s obviously still got it what it takes, and whatever advocacy work he does gets more visibility from him being in F1.

lol the “how it works” video looks pretty much the same as any gasoline engine, they just changed the injector spray visual with some glowing blue gas.

But what fluid are you supposed to put in the 710?

The LC500 has explosive detonators in the hood so that pedestrians don’t bonk their head off the top of the engine in the event of an accident.

How does fuel get all the way up to the sealed engine compartment when the fuel filler is at the driver side rear fender?

Even on the street in a straight line there’s plenty of skills that can be applied.
