Huh. Yeah, sure.
Huh. Yeah, sure.
I’ve seen a variety of theories floated - the most popular seems to be that the contestants didn’t put boiling water in their bain maries, which meant they took much longer to come up to heat. Or they just didn’t allow enough time and ran out of time to steam longer.
McKelvie and Gillen’s Young Avengers is one of my favorite comic runs ever, so I just have to hold onto hope. Getting a clever, tricksy Loki back would be great though; this series had enough of emotional, sincere Loki.
Young Avengers teasers >>>> X-people teasers
I was talking about Scavengers Reign
He replaces his cosmic self with an illusion occasionally and pops out for a sandwich.
So.... Kid Loki in the Young Avengers now?
I think it was syrup meant to be used both in the basin and as a topping, because they said they needed it finished before they could start the steaming.
Okay, so I’m of two minds about the technical.
Paul and Prue are old and either shocked or bitter that none of the generations coming after them know how to steam a pudding
Wow, really great reference. Thanks!
Superheroes are all gods in other guises. Yeah this was Loki’s All-Star Superman ending, but that’s pretty great.
Husbands! If they aren’t demanding you empty their ever-filling venom bowls, they’re writhing and screaming about all the venom falling on their faces. Either way, I don’t see the gutters getting any cleaner, am I right ladies? Sigyn and Skaði, you know what I’m talking about!

We’ve all been there.
I’m not gonna see it, but did they ever figure out why those games were so hungry?
God, Scavengers Reign has been so. good. The art is such a fabulous mix of Michael Deforge-style body horror and Metal Hurlant weirdness and the kind of weird landscapes from Brandon Graham and Xurxo G Penalta comics.... all my favorite stuff. And the voice acting’s been excellent, and the story appropriately minimal.…
But what this piece presupposes it, what if he didn’t?
I’m probably reading too much into it since I was getting bad vibes from the whole showstopper. I thought his facial expressions seemed extra pained, and his joke about “I don’t want to be touched”, and he was breaking things. In retrospect it's all easily within the realm of normal Noel.
This is the point in the season where the pressure of the competition and global warming combine to cause the share of contestants on/at the verge of nervous breakdown to approach 100%. It’s not my favorite thing to watch, honestly; it’s so clearly engineered to be painful for them. Plus Noel is in some sort of weird…
