Agree with a lot of that. I've seen him twice in 2014 and 2016, and even though he did say some of the same stories, it's sort of understandable at that age. I've tried 3D a few times and it isn't bad. But there's probably a bit of a learning curve after using the original Paint for so long. At least for me anyway.

I mentioned somewhere else that I would always confuse them for a bit every so often. The last names and vague similar appearance certainly added to that.

Holy cow, I forgot he was on those shows too.

I think I would occasionally confuse him with William Russ, the dad from Boy Meets World. Not severely or anything, but it would just take me a nanosecond longer to remember who was the Home Alone dad and who was the American History X dad. Or something.

Was there a movie where he was in a room and a TV was on, and then he got shot dead? I seem to remember this from somewhere in the 90's, but can't place my finger on it.

I don't think anyone's doubting that. But obviously, in these obituaries and things, people will cite what was probably the biggest thing they ever appeared in. And he did have one of the sizable roles in it too.
