And now that Machine Gun Kelly & Camila Cabello song is bringing the Out of My Head chorus hook back into some people's heads this year…

"Party Hard" will never fail to remind me of Madden 2003. Never.

Chumbawumba had Amnesia as another hit for them back in 1998. Used in a bunch of sports montages and commercials, primarily for its guitar riff.

So Sad to Say got a little airplay and was used as segue music on MTV in 2000, but yeah, that was their big one.

Fire Escape and You're an Ocean got a bit of mainstream attention too.

Toad and Wet Sprocket had Walk On the Ocean as well.

Fun video too.

Oh god, now I remember now. Ugggghhhhhhh… such a brutal scene.

"Super-one hit-group", you say? *scratches chin*

My friend and our talked about our mutual hatred for that song back in the day. Then my friend admitted to me a few years ago that he now gets a bit nostalgic about his middle school years when hearing it today, so his opinion's slightly changed on that reason alone.

But hey! That instrumental version of The Smiths song they did is in the art museum scene during Ferris Bueller… or something. Der.

"AV Clubbian"… I dig the term.

Chumbawumba had Amnesia in 1998 too, which was played a lot in ads primarily for its riff. Got a bit of radio play too.

Ah, yes… their only true hit. Good one.

Their second single Amnesia was somewhat well-known back in the day too (especially its riff), which is why I always sort of didn't go for people saying they were specifically "one hit" there.

Fastball had The Way, Out of My Head, Fire Escape off the first album. Then You're an Ocean got a bit of airplay later on in 2000.

Omg, that's almost as bad as the Whatchamacallit commercial from back in the day too…

Timmy T's One More Try now comes to mind for whatever reason too.

I Heard a Rumour got some airplay too.

God… quite the conundrum there, huh?
