Put the gun away Cyrus, we know you're too much of a pussy to use it.
I would. I've lusted for an Espirt S4s forever, through the Clinton administration, from Fast and the Furious 1 to whatever direct to DVD "Land Before Time" release they are on now. They are beautiful, and like anything beautiful they are fragile, temperamental, and demanding, but in that lies the charm. You won't see…
I would rock a minivan or station wagon (as I currently do) over an SUV or CUV any day. Practicality is what I like to project to the world, CUV and (most) SUV's are compromises to the point where they do nothing 'great' and lot's 'acceptable'. Suck it up and use the right tool for the job.
Indeed, I'm debating buying new just for it. And it's got to be the best bang for your buck, as 99% of these other ones are expensive Sports and luxury brands.
Yes, D3. As in "diesel." But the Alpina D3 isn't your mom's Jetta TDI wagon. It has 350 horsepower and a staggering 516 pound-feet of torque at just 1,500 RPM. And in addition to being more economical, it's an Alpina, so it's more luxurious and adept in the corners than your average 3-Series sedan.
Needs more wagons.
If you're so inclined, one is going across the block at the Gooding & Co Pebble Beach auction this year http://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1966-f…
Estimate $400,000-$600,000. How some people spend their money...
"Coupe"
I agree completely. Looks like my current Subaru will be my last.
Now look deeper into car sales for March and you'll see, with a few exceptions, the market for sedans stumbling along while the market for hatches and coupes going up (The Subaru XV Crosstrek is up 58% March-over-March).
Bullitt
Every time I see anything about the new WRX/STi I get furious about the lack of the wagon. How can Subaru be making more money then ever and claim they don't have the resources to develop a wagon?! They did it in '04, and I'd say 2005 was the best line up they ever had: WRX sedan and sportwagon, STi sedan, Legacy GT…

All I can think of: "Take the number of vehicles in the field, "a," multiply it by the probable rate of failure, "b," then multiply the result by the average out-of-court settlement, "c." "a" times "b" times "c" equals "x." If "x" is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one."
What the...? Anyone with that taste, in houses, pools, furniture, would NEVER have his bottom jacket button buttoned! That faux pas wouldn't be of concern to an individual of similar tastes that drove an Italian or German automobile. Cadillac: Where fashion comes second
The Jaguar X-Type wagon, while gorgeous, they only sold 1602 from 2005-2008 making it rarer than a Bentley Continental GT as pointed out in this Car and Driver feature.
Yeah, I definitely heard wagon.
