I’m a fan of the Obama regs but I agree with you about trucks.  If all light trucks were used as work vehicles, then I would feel like an exemption would make some sense.  However, I don’t like to see folks here commuting to an office job in a big ol’ truck, it makes no sense, environmentally.

Maybe I am missing something, but it sure as heck looks to me like the Dark SUV is the aggressor here and the white SUV was just caught up in it. this was not a two assholes situation.

That’s why we bought a minivan 6 years ago! It held more inside than the Ram truck that friend has plus it’s comfortable for everyday driving. How important is the 6-speed manual to you? Because for me, this is the only compelling reason to choose the Alltrack over any other wagon as no other AWD wagon comes with a stick any more. If the Alltrack only came in an auto, then I’d choose the Subaru without thinking twice.
