Every season, more players are injured in training camp (often doing the most mundane things) than they are by playing in pre-season games. So, if you get rid of the prep games, then you would also need to get rid of all the training and practice.

Before I sold my 2005 STi - I never had any issues getting the rear-facing snap and go seat in and out. Obviously, you can’t expect to have the front seats comfortably pushed back, but you can’t do that in even larger cars, with the kid-seats in the rear. The rear-facing seats are actually the worst of it, because

Some might consider that a plus.

Not grounded to the ground.

You’re right. It’s successfull.

From the Texans’ live media event:

Well, that’s a totally different conversation. Everyone is going to have their own personal preference for exactly what features they want on their V8 car of choice. All I’m saying, is that it oddly seems the GM has priced theirs higher than I would have expected.

I keep reading that info, and I think you’re off on this. The base GT has quite a few features and amenities which you can only get on the upper tier Camaro models. I’m not strictly speaking of pure performance.

Sure. Possibly, so. But I would argue that there are still far more buyers into these cars for more than just final numbers. The current Camaro has the expected average-to-poor quality GM interior, and horrible visibility. The current Mustang, while no German sedan, has a much better interior, and better visibility.

But I wasn’t comparing the base to the SS. Didn’t the article say that the “base” V8 in the Camaro was just a hair under $40K? Maybe I missed something, or maybe you’re missing something?

I’m sure there must be some reason. But, still, doesn’t EVERY Mustang come with HID’s & LED lighting, and things like heated and cooled seats, etc? I know, not performance, but features which likely appeal to more buyers.

I’m not talking any packs. I realize that changes the prices for all these cars. But base V8 to base V8 is a very considerable difference.

The new Mustang is a million times better looking than these new models. But, kudos to GM for at least going the correct direction with weight. However, that starting price for a V8? Did they forget that they’re competing with the Mustang, and its substantially lower GT entry price?

Because an alarming percentage of the U.S. populace live WELL outside their means. People are more than willing to carry thousands of dollars in idiotic credit card debt, they lease cars they could otherwise never afford, and they have lots of toys. All the while, they complain that they just don’t have enough.

And! This isn’t just some contractor special Chevy. It’s (supposedly) the top of the line GMC product. If I saw that photo without any caption, I would just assume it was from the early ‘90s. Which, I guess, is where GM is still shooting for.

Good Lord, GM. Just when you were trying to convince everyone you still didn’t make ugly products, you confirmed that you still know how to just stick shit in random places.

There are a host of reasons why it’s not more popular. But I would argue that one of the greatest issues is that it’s only a two-seater. A two-seater, which isn’t terrbily cheap, so nowhere near the “bargain” of something like a Miata. Nor is it the Corvette - which is arguably the gold standard for two-seat sports

Not sure the disconnect. You get that screen, regardless of what else you do. If you opt for nav, then you get nav info there. If you don’t then you still get the same radio, HVAC, and assorted vehicle info. The manufacturing cost is 100% identical.

Yeah, I’ve been accused of holding a stick many times. But not in a very funny place.

You’re not actually referring to wins, like more points than the other team at the end of the game, wins, right? You’re just referring to moral victories, yes?
