If it's only AWD, then either the RS or the ST will immediately die on the vine. WAY too similar, and just not enough compelling reason to spend more, on largely the same thing. Ford simply has to make it AWD. Why would they not like to at least compete in that WRX / STi territory?

Yeah. I'll be the first to admit that I'm likely not the target market of a Miata, regardless of the size of its balls. But knowing the engine is still so milquetoast is most certainly a bullet-proof guarantee that I'll never bother with a look.

That, and we used to shoot in the Viejas reservation, way before they turned that land into one giant casino theme park...

Best area in SoCal. Great back country driving roads, mountain trails for hiking, and at least when I was younger, great places to go shooting, before the fuck-tards closed down all the open air shooting spots.
