Everyone thinks it won’t happen to them. It’s a pretty common way of thinking.

It took me about 5 seconds too long to figure out what a two b’fer is.
I have no complaints about them and want one so bad. But even with the discount I can’t afford it. <$30k for top level trim in my area is a great deal.
I would totally buy this if I wasn’t a millennial with a ton of student loan debt. 25% off a sweet wagon is a great deal. Instead I’ll pick one up on the used market in 5-10 years.
Auto parts stores rent out OBD-II readers. There’s really no excuse not to have one when you go look at a car.
Oil fracking didn’t start until the 90's, so I could see why people in the 80's would expect there to be a shortage by now. I’m sure someone has tried to estimate how expensive a barrel of oil would be today without fracking, but I don’t care enough to look it up.
Is that like PETA saying “bring home the bacon is offensive”? Now car theft is supposed to be called ride sharing? lol
Oh no, was it your 2018 Subaru Outback 3.6R?
My wife and I were talking about this the other day, but in relation to Go Fund Me’s for health care costs. Mainly about how Universal Healthcare is seen as impossible for the US, but we crowd fund healthcare which makes it a more direct form of Universal Healthcare. This guy is an idiot. If you can afford that car,…
Have you tried Facebook Marketplace? It’s like a better version of Craigslist.
Are you Larry Bird?
Those are great questions that the OP probably could answer. But I can’t imagine Toyota offers the lifetime engine warranty. Probably a dealer warranty.
The interior reminds me of my friend’s 2006 base Colorado. The plastic and steering wheel are damn near identical. How has it not improved in over 10 years? GM pumping out expensive garbage again.
Certified used at 7 years old maybe? I didn’t know that was a thing. Or the lifetime engine warranty with 3 year bumper to bumper warranty built into the price? That sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
“quitter (way quitter) ...” Perfect typo to sum up a Ford transmission.
I don’t know if I will ever fully trust an autonomous car to drive me on a road trip. I like to drive at night on road trips so the kids can sleep and we cover more ground. I have a hard enough time trusting my wife to take a turn driving on those trips while I take a nap. Trusting a computer while we both try to sleep…
Who hurt you?
I worked in a Tier 1 automotive supplier factory during college. I never saw anything racist, but the guys that worked there were the most immature asshats I’ve ever met. The managers had to send out a memo to the whole plant to tell people to stop wiping boogers and poop on the bathroom walls. Yes, grown men were…
Ok that makes sense. Good to know.
Shouldn’t it be “has peak torque available at >0 RPM”? There’s no torque at 0 RPM, but any RPM greater than 0 would have peak torque, right?
