Look in the comments and you’ll find a thread where someone says you can get 6-7% off with Volvo’s Euro delivery option.

Did you use Tom’s method of contacting multiple dealers and having them order the car for you?

He’s rich. He doesn’t understand that there are probably thousands of kids in Kentucky that don’t have adequate cold weather clothing. There’s probably some that don’t even have coats. In his mind, everyone gets dropped off at school in their mom’s new SUV. He can’t fathom why anyone would have to stand outside

Does it really matter if the owner does or doesn’t want to be threatened with social media? It’s not really up to him if someone leaves them bad reviews because of a bad experience. Sounds like he needs to get with the times or retire.

Fair enough haha. I was thinking of all the terrible repair videos I’ve seen where the guy just sits there and talks for forever. And then the actual work lasts less than a minute and is done in the dark.

Better than staring into the camera for 10 minutes rambling about nothing before showing you what to do.

Chrisfix is awesome! I started watching his videos because he has a Mazda pickup that’s similar to my Ranger. He has so much content for repair/cleaning/disassembling cars. If you haven’t seen his videos, you should check them out.

This guy has like 100 miles on his car. If carbon is building up that fast he would need to do an Italian tuneup every week.

Pretty sure it’s the engine doing Morse code for any nearby Russian agents. Ford is part of the collusion!

Yeah I haven’t seen anything so far that says they are worse overall. I think that would be hard to prove, but maybe if someone doesn’t come up with a new way to make batteries without rare earth metals it could some day be the case. Kind of like how fracking is even worse than old fashioned oil drilling.

I would think it is obvious that they are “elsewhere emission vehicles”, right? That’s why a lot of cities have plans to ban any ICE vehicles in the coming decades. Emissions from a power plant farther away from a population center is better than a bunch of cars pumping out emissions right in the middle of the

It took me a second to figure out what you meant by genie light. Now that’s the only thing I will call it.

I’m pretty sure it’s in Washington state.

You lost me with the socialist-snowflake mindset bit. I’ve lived in the midwest and Washington state and people in Washington are much more environmentally conscious* in their daily decisions. I think it’s because (western) Washington actually has an avid outdoor enthusiast culture built around the mountains and

The best experience I had with TSA was when I left a large toothpaste container and hand lotion container in my carry on. They stopped me to inspect my bag for liquids and found both. The agent looked at the toothpaste and said I couldn’t keep it because it was something like 6 ounces. Not fluid ounces, but weight

Or they could not go on strike, people continue to bring banned items on planes and everyone finally realizes that TSA doesn’t keep you safe. Then TSA gets shut down and I can start keeping my belt and shoes on at every airport.

Trick question, he uses Velcro straps.

“Oh my gawd.” That is definitely the best one.

As some people pointed out, the price is on par with inflation and the new trucks have more features, better safety, better mpgs. The problem is that wages haven’t kept up with inflation. So the prices may be similar, but that doesn’t mean it’s still “affordable” even with lower interest rates than the 90's.
