“On October 30, 1924, Midgley participated in a press conference to demonstrate the apparent safety of TEL, in which he poured TEL over his hands, placed a bottle of the chemical under his nose, and inhaled its vapor for 60 seconds, declaring that he could do this every day without succumbing to any problems.[7][10]

“No Ragrets”, FTFY

Yeah that sounds about right.

I don’t think anyone still calls it global warming? It’s climate change because you get wild swings in temperature and increased storm activity (like more/larger hurricanes). So you will definitely see periods of extremely low temperatures and increased precipitation at different points in the year, but the overall

I hate maps like this because the thing that matters is the number of votes for each candidate. They aren’t trying to win the most square miles of land. This map is worthless without showing population numbers.

Maybe it’s just me, but that’s not outrageous. I pay maybe 1/5th of your road tax every year, but $800 in insurance and $50/week in fuel is pretty close to what I pay. And I have a second vehicle that I pay about $800/year for insurance and maybe $30/week in fuel. I don’t live in a big city either.

Beat me to it.

Yes, someone else pointed out that the shadow behind the baby Bronco is probably what the Bronco will look like. It’s much larger.

Lol before I got through most of your comment I though, “yeah, but I don’t want to live in Stone Mountain, GA”. Now I really don’t want to live there haha.

3,000 sq feet where I live means you’re rich AF. It also means you would have space to park this thing.

Would you still come out ahead? Assuming most of the companies will go bankrupt or be bought out and only a couple end up like Amazon, would you still do well enough to justify it? I’m wondering how you would figure out how many shares to buy to make it work.

The hardest part would be choosing who you invest in. I think I saw an article on here with an info-graphic of all companies involved in AI. It was a pretty long list and it keeps getting longer.

Definitely fair to doubt my palate haha. Pretty much the only type of beer I like is lagers. I don’t understand why people like IPAs.

I had Peroni for the first time in Italy and thought it was great. I’ve had it twice in the U.S. and was disappointed. I don’t know why it tasted so much better in Italy.

The fire in the background really makes this photo.

Nice. I didn’t realize that was a thing. Much better than waiting in line on a Tuesday haha.

My state does that too. I thought most states didn’t unless you requested an absentee ballot?

Or Muslim. Don’t forget that on the third day, God said no Muslims allowed in the White House.

I have a friend from college who did that. Now he lives in another country and hates Trump. Doesn’t change the fact that he voted for him.

I think you would still need insurance for when a deer slams into your car or a tree falls on it. Those things will still happen. I would hope it would be cheaper, but with all the sensors on the car and how expensive newer cars are to repair I doubt it.
