Yeah GAP insurance is mainly for when you buy a car (or lease I guess) and don’t put enough down. If you have negative equity while making payments you want GAP insurance in case the car is totaled in an accident. Otherwise you could owe money on a car that you don’t have anymore if the insurance payout doesn’t cover

I had a Focus with the Powershift transmission as a rental a few years ago. It had less than 1000 miles on it and the whole thing felt like it was about to fall apart. Idling at stop lights felt like the engine wanted to jump out of the car. By far the worst car I’ve ever driven.

“Rode the cheese” - I have never heard that term for riding a school bus, but it makes complete sense.

Move back and they’ll give you one.

I had a customer in Seattle who just relocated and was looking for a used Subaru.”

Yeah I agree it won’t help them sell a bunch more, but the increased price won’t be the reason.

Well they did make $4700 of extras standard so really you are getting a discount. But if $1500 is stopping you from buying a $157,000 car then you probably can’t afford it in the first place.

I was browsing for used cars recently and came across a 2016 that was $12k. The ad said it could be had for $162/month which seemed low to me. So I clicked the ad and it said that prices was if you put down $1200 and then get an 84 month loan at 5.99%. The car would be 9 years old at the end of that. The total price

My wife got T-boned by a woman who was driving without a license or insurance. She was driving because her husband had recently caused an accident while also driving without a license or insurance. Anyway, the woman wanted my wife to not call the cops and take the car to her cousin in the nearest city (45+ minutes

That shouldn’t be too hard. Carrier didn’t do anything and he got Indiana to give them a huge tax cut while still allowing them to ship jobs to Mexico one year late. Ford is a much larger work force and it would probably give him a boost in ratings right before the 2020 election. His base is supposed to believe in the

By paid off nicely do you mean it dropped to $1.50 and didn’t recover until years later? Because I would buy into Ford at that price. If Obama bailed out the Big 3 then Trump definitely will.

Don’t forget about 48 volt systems. Those are coming in the next 5-7 years and will make a big difference in fuel economy and efficiency.

Haha I thought they were great too. They did kind of shake the house though. My wife has a hard enough time sleeping without the sound of guns outside. Not so great for her.

The weekend after I bought my first house we heard some very intense gun fire that sounded relatively close. I got on Google maps and discovered that we bought a house about a mile away from a small military training base that I thought was much farther north. It was pretty common to hear semi or automatic gun fire at

Running boards? I guess you could add a recessed step for the top row, but that doesn’t help people get down into the bottom row.

Yeah I should know this by now. I have seen enough documentaries that discuss how other countries and especially developing countries are adopting terrible diets like ours which causes obesity rates to rise.

Looking at it again, the lower seats seem just as hard to get to. You would have to sit down on the ground and slide in. Oh well, must just be a non-U.S. concept haha.

I didn’t even notice that. I don’t usually have a carry-on that won’t fit under my seat though.

The AirLair concept is cool, but Americans are so fat and out of shape. How would most passengers get in the top row?

I’m mostly joking, but I’m also not going to waste my life looking up vape brands.
