Still have no idea what you all are talking about.

I’m going to guess that this is a vape brand joke, but my American education didn’t do a great job of teaching me reading comprehension skills like inferring from clues. Have a star anyway.

Nothing like threatening nuclear war on a Sunday afternoon.

Or we could ruin the US economy so there are no jobs here and then people would also have less reason to leave Mexico/South America.

I can’t comment on how intelligent he may be, but I can also assume he isn’t very intelligent based on a number of things he has said or done. I’m just trying to say that he learned a very basic form of negotiation early in life (in college probably) and hasn’t advanced since then. Also I never said his form of

This reminds me of somethings I read the other day by an economics professor at IU. His point was that Trump is used to simple one-on-one negotiations where one side wins and the other loses. International trade is much more complex and there aren’t always clear winners/losers and often mutually beneficial agreements

With the quarter in place of the fuse that car is now worth 25 cents.

If US consumers prefer foreign cars because they have better quality/value then that’s just the free market operating, isn’t it? If the Big 3 can’t compete then let them die. I’m not up for another bailout where the people who ruined the economy get rich and everyone else becomes poorer.

Yeah I imagine if a rule was established that way you would see a lot of aftermarket/OEMs supplying kits to make it work. That’s the kind of logical thinking that we don’t allow around here.

Yeah my understanding is they couldn’t meet emissions requirements so they had to stop selling on-highway engines. Plenty of others took their place. My point is that the old CAT engines are desirable because they put out a ton of power compared to newer emissions-restricted engines.

That would be up to the customer that buys the truck. I’m guessing spending money to meet regulations that aren’t required for their truck is seen as a waste of money. Also, CAT doesn’t sell on-highway engines anymore because they couldn’t meet emissions requirements. So you would probably have to buy/spec all those

People want the old 16 liter CAT engines. Usually when you see a truck towing a truck, that’s the engine they have.

Elizabethtown is in Kentucky, not Tennessee like the link says.

I want to submit a formal request to include a picture of the engine bay with the engine cover removed in all future car reviews. That plastic cover is nice and kudos to the engineer who designed it, but I want to see what’s under it!

That MS-13 bit reminds me that MS-13 was supposed to come take over my hometown in the midwest way back in 2005. The town is still there and there are definitely no gangs. Just more scare tactic BS to make people afraid of anyone who isn’t white.

My experience from my time in Indiana and Kentucky is that most of those engineering jobs are in manufacturing engineering. if you want to do something else you go somewhere else. You are right though, there are plenty of jobs there.

Do manufacturer’s give a battery only range for cars like this? It’s essentially only running the engine to charge the battery and it’s not a plug in hybrid. So it really doesn’t matter how far you can go with just the battery because the only way to charge it is with the engine acting as a generator.

My wife wanted a red washer/dryer set. That was more important to her than price or functionality. We ended up with a white set because I didn’t want to pay the extra cost for red haha.

I did not know that! I think Family Guy may have made the joke a long time ago. I’m not really sure if that was where I first heard it. I used to listen to Bob and Tom all the time though so maybe that’s where I heard it too.

My wife hates in when I make those kind of jokes about SJP. Have a star!
