According to some former coworkers who are older and used to work in fashion, devices like the Cuchini have been used for years for catalog and commercial fashion. There are even similar devices for men that are like athletic cups. All were used to keep people's focus off anatomy and on the clothes.

I love the little girl who just cracks up - she reminds of GOT Arya!

I have heard this.

True. I'm just not going to ask for cash. If people want to give it, who am I to deny their decision.

Nice knives are such a great gift, it's really sucky that they are bad luck in mine.

It's bad luck in some cultures (Mexican, Italian) to give knives as a wedding gift. It will cause the friendship between the couple and guest to sever.

You'll be OK. Ask to see the lease and how much each roommate is paying. Ask lots of questions and look at everything. I have had multiple Craigslist roommates here and some were better than others but none were terrible. One was fucking great. The key is don't assume anything, get details.

It's a big undertaking considering the wide variety of brands they have. But I'm glad they are trying to solve the problem of crazy sizing in women's clothes.

I think this really depends where you live. I'm in NYC and from the SF Bay area and getting married at 25 is generally seen as crazy and too young. Most people here get married in their early 30s. I do remember it being hard when it seemed like a whole ton of friends got engaged at the same time (around 29/30). But

That's the point of True Fit - it's not about the size chart but the cut of the garments. To set it up it will ask you, for example, if you own any J Brand jeans. Then it will ask what style, and what size those jeans are. The same goes for a JCrew dress. Then when you click on one of their for sale items it will tell

Nordstrom sort of does this on their website. It's called True Fit. You fill out your measurements and then examples of sizes from brands you own that fit you. It's pretty accurate. The unfortunate thing is that they don't have it set up for every item.

I could do it, no problem. And I certainly wouldn't opt for shocking myself instead.

Well, it was a figurative sitting rather than a literal sitting that I meant. But I feel you.

I know that and obviously the show can't force them to have sex. However, it's a pretty normal expectation to have sex with your spouse. What has the show done to discuss this with the participants? Are they supposed to sleep in the same bed? Have they laid out that you still need consent in a marriage? Will one

Right?! Sometimes it takes time to meet the right person. I feel like people who are never single often don't have great relationships because they jump into new ones just to avoid being alone. Being single is not an affliction that must be remedied.

Serious question: are they expected to consummate their marriages? Because that seems like a huge kettle of fish right there re: marital expectations and legal rights not to consent.

At least from the promo several of these participants sound really desperate: "I've been single for 6 months/1 year/2years!" It can be lonely being single but if that's their upper threshold that causes them to commit to this show, it sounds like they may have some issues that need to be worked out.

I have a smartphone but I generally ignore it unless I have a reason to be on it. I don't really care if people think I'm spacing out or weirdly waiting around- I enjoy just thinking. So my point is that I think people who are constantly on their phones are probably people who would shock themselves in this study.

Right?! I'm going to start telling people who say I'm tone deaf that I just haven't warmed up enough yet.
