I still can’t believe Hillary never visited Wisconsin during the general election. Obama is right about this. Like it or not, Trump was showing up in these swing states multiple times in the weeks leading up to the election. In a close election, it makes a difference.

It’s the non-voters that should get almost all of the blame. Trump got the same 59-60 million that Romney and McCain each got. It’s also what Hillary got. Obama got 69/66 million in his two elections. Somehow 6-9 million people abandoned Hillary.

I think he did. If anything Johnson most likely helped make this closer for Hillary than it otherwise would’ve been. Trump won whether Gary Johnson existed or not.

For me, the two most interesting future candidates will be a gay candidate or an atheist candidate. It’s gonna be a long time before enough of the electorate are comfortable with either of these.

And sadly, in some cases in NY, blue doesn’t even mean anything. At least on social issues, Democratic Sen. Ruben Diaz is indistinguishable from Mike Pence.

For my money, nothing was funnier than Marco Rubio being chased by a robot.

Ha, I’m not super into Gaga, but I didn’t mean this as shade. I guess I meant, it’s not unlikely that she’ll get onto that list of most #1 albums by a female artist. I doubt she’ll top it, but she only needs 2 more to tie Mariah. Gaga seems to have a very dedicated fan base. That’s how you get a #1 album.

For those keeping score at home, Barbara Streisand has the most female #1 albums at 10, Madonna at 9, Janet Jackson at 7, Mariah and Britney tied at 6. With 4, Gaga isn’t very far behind at all.

But that’s my point. You can’t just buy a music career.

That’s probably my least favorite complaint about Swift. Paris Hilton tried to buy her way into a music career, but nobody cared and nobody bought her music. Yes, it helped that Taylor had her dad fund the earliest part of her career, but once her career took off, it was all her. Daddy isn’t buying up the millions and

American Hustle was worse than “meh”. It was god awful. However, JLaw was the only funny, entertaining thing about the movie even if she was 10 years too young to play the character. Every one else was pretty bad (yeah you too Amy Adams).

Yeah the hate she got was a little overboard (although her thirstiness really bugged me), but when she gives an interview like this she brings it on herself. Saying she couldn’t be happy because there’s starving, suffering people in the world comes across as obnoxious. Even beauty pageant contestants have better

How could I forget A League of Their Own? She was great in that!

I went for the easy joke, but of the two, I’d take Madonna’s performance in Evita any day of the week. I thought she was decent, definitely the best she’s ever been.

Trust me, it was a travesty. Dunst or Huffman would have been great winners.

On the flipside, Gaga and Madonna are both terrible actresses who “won” Golden Globes for their work so they do have that in common.

I do think it depends how and why someone wins their Oscar. She had two perfect roles that played to all her strengths as an actress. But it doesn’t mean she’s a star or box office draw. Most of her follow up movies after winning her critical and box office disappointments.

I agree that almost no actors can open movies on their names anymore. But Swank’s stories were from 10-15 years ago when star power was at least more of a factor. But really it’s about Swank’s movie choices. Maybe she’s not being offered other roles, but for the movies she chooses a lot of it does depend on how

Her salary for The Affair of the Necklace is listed as $3 million. She may have been grossly underpaid for Boys Don’t Cry, but she was way overpaid for that flop right after. Each time she won a major award, she proved how little box-office draw she has by headlining a pretty big failure. None of this has to do with

With the increasing popularity of early voting and mail-in voting, whatever happens on Election Day may not even matter anymore.
