95% of the ICE cars on the road are next to inaudible in a parking lot. There’s a slight hum and maybe if your paying very close attention you can hear the ticking from the injectors, but those noises aside ICE really isn’t significantly louder than an electric car unless you’re comparing the exhaust note out of

I’ve always found the “charming little” backup alarm annoying. You aren’t in a large car and no other car comes from the factory with a backup alarm. Why do I have to listen to you make your 9 point turn in the Costco parking lot, it’s bad enough I have to sit behind you while you do it, now I have to listen to your

The issues that the 370z has are analogous for the entire Nissan brand, at least in my opinion. They let everything they build get SO dated, and their pricing rarely reflects the fact that they are still building a car that was on the bleeding edge... 14 years ago. I love the entire concept of a Z car, but they have

Have you seen the engine bay on these cars?

That’s fair, this one is certainly worth looking at, but I think I’d ultimately save my reservations until I see, in detail, what the engine bay looks like.

I personally prefer the Z32 over the Z31. If I ever own a Z, it’ll be a Z32.

I mean, yeah they will. The engine in an na car isn’t going to generate as much heat either so each heat cycle those vacuum lines have gone through will be more gentle... not to mention heat fatigue will be less.

If you want a 200 HP 300zx, the N/A version of the Z32 can be bad for this price, albeit in much better shape. Sure, his added maintenance is worth something, but I’d rather not deal with the mess of aging vacuum lines under the hood of a 31 year old turbo v-6 in a notoriously tight engine bay... especially for 200hp.

I mean 1200 is an interesting number.

Definitely CP at asking price.

Worked fine for me on mobile.

I’m sorry, badge notwithstanding, they want more than 5k for an 18 year old vehicle with over 100k. That is crack pipe territory. I don’t care if they have maintenance records, I don’t care how good the interior looks, gaskets and seals on the engine are rotting and that car is looking at the business end of being

Sometimes the best way to recreate a problem is to use the car how the customer does. If that means driving it for errands that’s how it is sometimes. The issue is that customers cannot always communicate effectively on an issue that pops up. I’ve had customers come to me complaining of a rattle and all I hear is

What would you rather drive/work on?

As a jalopnik regular I feel we (readers) are contractually obligated to vote NP.

“Honda made more power out of a 2 liter”

I’d be very surprised if dealerships weren’t motivated to move those units. A new SHO in the states msrps around $50k, but you can absolutely get a killer deal on one. IIRC factory rebates enabled you to knock the price down into the low 40s and that’s before you see what the dealership would be willing to do.

I’m sorry, there’s a missed opportunity here.
