No problem. I always want pictures and details like this so when I have the opportunity, I try to deliver.

Base starts at $19,999. The SL model gets you the red paint, different rims, audio, and windshield.

I completely agree with you.

But it's a good deal because everything already comes installed and it comes in red!!! /S

No idea yet, but I should know this afternoon.

That's a great question and one that I've wondered myself. They probably did it that way since that's what they already know with their Victory line and it didn't require a lot of engineering to put into production.

I'll find out for you.

Most likely you'd have to get a motorcycle certification, but you could probably also use this to do it.

Inline engine. Shaft driven to rear trans where it gets converted to belt final drive. I have to find an engineer to get max horsepower figures for the belt.

Another 77" of space. This thing is hugely wide. It won't fit through double doors.

It does have some storage. I'm going to get pictures later today.

It's not going to be very hard to make a conversion kit to give it 4 wheels.

I'll check on that too. Speaking of tires, they had custom branded Slingshot tires made for the ones at the show.

Traction control fully turns off. Pulls .98 on the skid pad with the stock tires. From everyone that I've talked to that has driven it they say yes, but I'll know for sure this afternoon. It'll roast the tire up through 50MPH. After the demo drives today, they're expecting to have to replace the rear tires. :)

I'll try to find out mileage today.

Probably for simplicity and to easily meet emissions. I was talking to one of the engineers last night and his response to my question about a turbo model gave me the impression that they're looking into it. The engineer did say that it's basically just the drive train out of the Solstice/Sky.

Price for the SL is $24,999.

Prepare your bodies for more pictures. I'm at the dealer meeting. I'll answer any questions that I can. Might have a test drive report for everyone later. It also looks more like a stingray in person.

sigh... it's not anything like the Spyder.

Auburn Hills, MI has a police truck and I think I saw one that belonged to Berkley, MI this past weekend that had very dark markings on it. Neither of which are rural.
